This thing is a beast!
We just returned from a month long trip to Tanzania to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, went on a week long safari and traveled all over the country. This duffle bag took a beating and shows minimal signs of it. It kept all my gear dry when hiking the Mtn in the pouring rain and it held up to being tossed around on our several bush plane flights throughout the country. I was thrilled that it held up so well! I was concerned that the wheels wouldn't be able to hold up to all the bumpy walkways and roads we dragged it through. But this duffle performed wonderfully. My husband was surprised at how well that it held up and wants me to buy a couple more for our future travels with our teenagers. I very rarely leave reviews but this bag was so awesome that I wanted to share my experience with it.Pro's: you can stuff a ton of gear in it, it has some side pockets, it's water proof, the wheels are thick and sturdy and it's very well madeCon's: the handle is a little short which makes getting the bag started rolling is a little tricky but once you get moving it's smooth.Tip: use packing cubes if you are going on a long trip with this bag. Those are a lifesaver to keep you organized.

Wheels on a Duffle are a Great Idea
This bag is sturdy and looks good. I used it for a 19 day hiking vacation. I had a good bit of gear and the bag had the capacity I needed. It’s also lighter than some of my other luggage and this helped with the airline weight limits.

Good Large Capacity Bag
I've had this bag for almost three years and have used it many times. This is a good bag when you need a lot of storage, but because it doesn't have a rigid back, it won't roll properly if it's not packed full. It's also a big bulky soft sided bag, so it's never going to roll like a smaller roller bag. Having said that, it rolls well enough to get from the car to baggage check! I've also rolled it on non-paved dirt and gravel and it was ok.It's been to Alaska, Norway, and Belize in small boats and in the rain and kept my stuff dry. I wouldn't say it's waterproof, but it is definitely water resistant. It also seems pretty durable and is not showing any significant signs of wear yet. The only real problem with the bag is the Velcro that's supposed to hold the handle straps together is completely useless. I use a small strap to keep them together so they don't get snagged while traversing baggage handling systems. Overall I'm very happy with this bag.

Great Bag
This bag was great for a trip to the USVI on a sailboat. It collapsed down to save space once it was unloaded. Survived the airport quite well seems to be made very durable. Did not ever check the waterproofness of the bag but seems like it would do well. Having the wheels was a definite plus.

Lasted one trip
Bag seemed very sturdy and durable, but only lasted one 3-month trip in Europe; the zipper busted by the time I was returning home. Also, the non-telescoping handle proved very frustrating - I had read comments about taller people having issues, I figured at 5’3” I would be fine, but no. The bag constantly hit into my foot/leg while trying to roll it along, sometimes sending the bag careening to the side/falling over and completely halting my progress (always fun when running late for a bus/train/etc). I found it easier to manage by walking backwards so that the front of my body was facing the bag and my back was to wherever I was going (as that allowed me to walk without the bag hitting into me); onlookers seemed to find it rather amusing, but it created its own logistical problems/safety concerns as I (unlike my mother) don’t have eyes in the back of my head.

50% well designed
After two trans-continental air trips the fabric looks durable, the wheels look durable, the zipper looks durable, and the straps look durable. My experience so far is that the bag holds more stuff than the airline weight allowance. The velcro design makes the main handle easy to grab while also less bulky; I hope this feature will be added to other Eagle Creek bags. The main handle, furthermore, is shorter than the long, long main handle on the Eagle Creek No Matter What duffle, giving me more control of the Migrate while carrying and lifting. The side handles are very sturdy, but not far enough apart for optimal handling of the bag. The Achilles heel of the Migrate is that the back/wheeled end does not have an end handle, and it is super disappointing every dang time I reach for the two ends of the Migrate and one hand flails helplessly in the air and the bag does not appear in the trunk of the vehicle. Add in the super awkward clip at the head end and no clip at the tail end, and it really just feels like the design team at Eagle Creek was rushed by management to come up with a new product to send to market just for the sake of sending a new product to market. I want to sell my nearly-new Migrates and go back to my No Matter Whats.

Just what I was looking for.
I bought two of these, a 110 liter and a 130 liter, for use on extended, organized bike tours where your luggage is transported from campsite to campsite. It might sit out in the rain waiting for you to retrieve it. The duffels have to hold everything: personal items, bicycling equipment, camping gear. I used waterproof dry bags for this for many years but they have become too heavy for me to lug far, so I looked for a wheeled version. The Eagle Creek Migrate duffels are just what I was looking for: large wheels, spacious, open wide for easy packing of bulky items, rain resistant. The 130 liter duffel really holds a lot. The design and color stand out in a field full of luggage. These Eagle Creek duffels seem better to me for my purpose than the alternatives from REI that I looked at.However, these Eagle Creek Migrate duffels might not be as generally useful for airplane and urban travel as available alternatives.

Durable and waterproof!
This bag went with me on a Greenland adventure and we experienced 2 storms. Not a drop of water inside and it withstood airline cargo rough handling extremely well! This is one of 2 things I told everyone I would rate highly upon return. Helpful tip is yo purchase packing cubes for putting items in within the duffle. Highly recommend this piece.

Huge bag, durable
So far so good. Been using this going in and out of oil /gas camps so it gets tossed a bit. Holds a ton. Well see how the wheels and bottom hold up in the coming season.
