This is a really nice tent with multiple options for use. You can connect it to the back of your SUV or Jeep for extra storage or sleeping space, etc. You can also use what's the connecting "tunnel" to your vehicle in a stand alone manner as a covered roof or patio for your tent. The tent feels sturdy and is waterproof. The skylight is an added bonus so you can truly sleep "under the stars" while still being protected. The e-port is a nice touch to be able to bring a wire into the tent either from a solar generator, AC power source, etc. Just because you're camping doesn't mean you have to live without your e-toys!I did find the instructions to be poorly written and contained typos. The instruction sheet is sewn into the carrying bag so it doesn't get lost, but the printing should have been done such that when you flip the page to read the other side, you don't have turn the whole bag around to continue reading. This seems like a nitpick, but instructions and documentation are often the first experience you have with a product, and a bad experience can sour the whole thing. Fortunately, I have put up many tents in my day and I finally stopped trying to understand the directions/images and just looked at all the pieces. I had the tent up in five minutes. I have since found that the product description includes a video of how to do the setup, so be sure to watch that first if you get this tent!

This is a nice tent but I found it incredibly difficult to attach to my suv. When I was raising the tent, each side wanted to collapse. This absolutely may be user error as it has been awhile but the instructions are lacking also. Maybe with two people it would be easier or even with more practice. PLEASE watch the video first which is what I did not do!

This is an amazingly versatile tent; it most definitely will hook up to an SUV practically seamlessly, but it can also be used stand alone by itself. Very impressive. Most tents for SUV's are useless without the vehicle. Not THIS Big Boy.It'll fit 4-6 adults easily, and the nylon fabric is coated with PU2000 waterproof coating which I can actually feel (and all the seams are taped) . Extremely well made of good quality materials.The set up took me a little longer than usual because this is the first SUV tent I've set up, and by myself. I piddled around and played with all the zippers and stuff and it took me 35 minutes to set up, alone. I was in no hurry. I also had 12mph winds and the tent went up nicely, and surprisingly easy. The instructions are sewn into the carrying bag, and easy to follow.The inside is tall....at least 6ft...good standing room. There's two pockets and a ceiling hook for a lantern, and a movie screen. The screen is wrinkle proof, and has four hooks that allow it to act as a "suspended ceiling" giving some "black-out" (prevents overhead sun from glaring in) when not in use; and any two corners can be dropped for use as a projector movie screen. I reallllyyyyyyy like this.The floor is heavy duty and bucket-style to prevent water from coming in during heavy rain fall. Packing this tent back up was as easy as it was pitching it. Surprisingly, it all slid right back into the carrying bag like it was greased. VERY NICE, very versatile large family camping tent. Excellent quality!

We were on the hunt of trying to find a good quality tent and never imagined we would find this one! This tent is good quality AND it even connects to our SUV to have more space. It was also very easy to put together with 2 people, and we were done in about 10 minutes. It even began raining and were safe and dry in the tent.
