Great slicer.
Great slicer. Very easy to use, but as expected with this quality, it does take some time to clean. It's still worth every penny. I don't mind a little cleaning with the results this produces.

Terrible machine and more terrible service
Ordered and shipped on time but that’s when things went south… machine does not work, it is covered in oil which has saturated the shipping box and unit had scratches. Attempted a return. Was told by seller that there would be no charge to ship the item back… well that’s not true as when I took the unit to the postal carrier, I was going to be charged over $100 to return the item… was then told if I pay for the shipping it would be refunded however that is impossible as I bought the unit using a payment plan through affirm…. Looks like I am stuck paying for a piece of junk that don’t work…. Terrible customer service and I would never again buy from this company …. Buyer beware

Good slicer
Instructions are terrible but the quality of this product is great.Blade was rubbing a little when I first started it, there is a bolt underneath to adjust the bottom part of the blade guard. Once adjusted it worked fine, I also had to adjust the top of the guard for an even cut. Sliced pork belly I made for bacon super thin.Easy to disassemble and clean. As other reviewers have said, please be careful when cleaning as the blade is sharp.Have not had to use the blade sharpener yet but it's a great feature and the company has a video on their website which shows proper use.

Returned first unit. Replacement works great.
The first one I received didn't work, and the frame around the blade was bent so that it dragged on the blade as it spun.I returned it. The replacement arrived pretty quick. This one worked just fine, but the guard rail on this one was bent a little, too. There is an issue with how they package the units... it appears anything less than gentle treatment during shipping hits the sharpener, and that tweaks the guard. Straightening it out isn't too difficult.Other than that little issue, this is a solid unit. It will slice from paper thin to 1/2" thick, and does so with little effort. It is a pretty sturdy set up. Cleaning takes some time, but it isn't too much work.Overall, I'm happy with it.

Clean, solid, unit - but underpowered.
This 10" slicer is pretty nice for the money. It is better than any big box slicer by a mile but doesn't quite stack up to a truly professional grade machine.Positives:+ All aluminum cast body.+ Nice sliding motion of carriage.+ Built in sharpener.+ Small footprint and easy to pick up and move.+ Rubber feet keep unit secure on counter while cutting.+ Easy to clean but there are a few hard to reach places.+ Fully adjustable cutting thickness w/ large adjustment knob.+ Plastic covered "on/off" switch.+ Adequate cord length.+ Not convinced this is a Stainless Steel blade. It corrodes where sharpened. Must be chromed steel.Negatives:- Not a Stainless Steel blade.- Blade flexes while cutting. Mine was not perfectly flat so it bobs around as it cuts. It needs to be thicker and more substantial to get a great cut. It can not cut cheese straight or dense salami meats.- Motor is under powered.- On/off switch is black & white. It should be green & red. I always have to check the button.- Some hard to clean spots behind the back blade guard that is not removable.- Blade does not look like it would come off easily.- Meat carriage is not easily disassembled. I would like to use it without the meat gripper plate.- Sharpener needs to be oiled before use. No food grade lubricate provided. Not easy to find locally. This would be a five-start unit if the blade was stainless steel and true, and the motor was one size larger.Note: I am comparing this to my 20 year old used Hobart 7012 which was an army tank and would probably cut through bone if you wanted it to. It was probably 100 lbs and couldn't be moved by one person. It took up my whole counter so I bought this 10" slicer for the smaller footprint and lighter weight.

A great investment!
Extremely well made and works as well as a commercial slicer! Well worth the price. I don't think we'll ever need to replace this machine.
