This product works really well with natural hair. It leaves a healthy shine and enhances the natural curl in your hair. It has a small amount of sealing creme to keep your style in place. Love this product!!!!

I have very dry, frizzy, and dull loose curls. First and foremost, this product smells amazing. It had a mango scent that isn't overpowering and fades as you hair dries. It's lightweight and added shine that I've never seen in my hair before.I tried this product 3 ways, all were air dried: Just this product on towel dried hair, this product only on really wet hair, and my normal hair product on really wet hair then using this once my hair was towel dried. I preferred using it with the 3rd option.Alone on towel dried hair: produced well defined wavy hair instead of curly. This was a little confusing for me because this product is lightweight and didn't feel like it weighed down my hair. The wavy hair looked cute, didn't frizz throughout the day, and the shine was great. May use this method when I'm in a hurry and don't have time to dry my hair or I want to change it up and go for the beach wave look.Alone on really wet hair: This is how I use my normal product, in the shower or immediately following my shower prior to plopping. After I applied the product and was done with my towel plopping, my curls were there instead of the towel dried waves. As it dried, it became a frizzy mess since it didn't have the hold my hair needed.Normal hair product on wet, Mane Choice Curl Defining Cream on towel dried hair: This was the winner! After plopping, I applied this using prayer hands. Scrunched, then left it to air dry. The curls were definitely defined, added so much shine, and I had ZERO frizz throughout the day. I live in an area with very high humidity and haven't had a product that combats frizz until this one. This even held up with me driving in the car with the windows down. ZERO FRIZZ.

I'm a low-maintenance kinda girl, so I like to use a towel to sop up the water from my hair after a shower and apply a styling product before getting on with my day. I really like this curl cream for that exact reason...it is simple to use and effective on my wavy/curly hair. I was surprised at how well-defined my curls looked after using it, with great shine and a light hold. The cream is pretty thin and easy to massage through my hair, so getting full coverage was quite quick! I do think I need to try using less next time, however, as I noticed it took a bit more shampooing to cleanse my hair the next morning.

I’m like the cream but it’s unsettling to receive a cosmetic item with no wrapping

A little goes a long way, and it keeps my hair from getting frizzy and instead I find myself with a little bit more of a defined curl. If I feel like I’ve put too much I can just add more water to my hair to dilute it, but it really has been working out nicely for me. I highly recommend!

Wouldn't purchase again

One of the things I love best about this curl defining cream is that it's gentle on my hair. I've been dealing with major hair loss, so I've been very concerned with the specific types of products I use in my hair. This curl cream doesn't contain a lot of unwanted ingredients such as sulfates and parabens that can promote damage or hair loss.I have naturally curly hair that is prone to frizz. This specific curling cream seems to work the best for me. It has a way of taming and defining my curls, making them appear more natural looking. No crunchy looking curls with this stuff.The cream is lightweight, gentle, hydrating, non-sticky, and smells really good. It's easy to use. After washing my hair, I usually distribute a scoop throughout my damp hair and either air dry my hair or use a low heat setting to blow dry it. My curls always turn out amazing afterward!
