Worth the wait! 10 out of 10. Strap is perfect length, adjustable, matches perfectly! So happy I ordered.

After only 6 weeks of use, the part that wraps around the handles becomes loose and isn't strong enough to anchor down on the end of the handle. Now 1 side always pops off rendering this strap kit useless. Don't waste your money.

Ok so have you ever thought to yourself that you need to be more patient? Then get one of these kits. Be prepared to want to holler and scream at anything in your path. Don't give in though. Take your time and you'll get the clasp pieces on. Took me about 10 minutes with the first one and about 5 minutes on the second one. I recommend that you try to stretch and pull on the leather for a bit before putting the clasp piece around the base of the handle. Also slightly work on opening up the hole first as well. I even put a little bit of heat on the leather on the second one and seemed to help with the stretching. Once you get them on then you'll notice that a dragon must have fire breathed the shrink wrap around the hardware of the long strap to "protect it from scratches." Don't have a fit. Take a sip of tea or coffee and find a nice small pair of scissors and you'll get the shrink wrap off before too long. For reference I used this kit on the small Longchamp with the short top handle. I took one star off because ummm read the above drama, but also because there is no sharp or pointy piece that goes inside the handle base like I've seen in other kits. There is a thickened part of leather that fits in there pretty well so not sure if that's good or bad. Time will tell if the clasps stays in place. I'll edit this review if the clasp isn't steady after using for a while. Thank you for letting me get this off my chest. Saved me a trip to the therapist.

Wanted to start of by saying I have not used the item yet but I have put it on the bag and honestly feels pretty sturdy and the color match is great ! Of note, I think the people saying it doesn’t work/fit or slips off are using this strap on the bigger LC bags. I feel like this strap was made perfectly for the Cosmetics Pouch (now called Original Pouch). For installing I must say it was a little bit of snug fit to get the piece to totally wrap around the handle. It does have that middle piece that goes into the crevice of each handle which should hopefully keep it in place. I thought the drop of the bag was great, it is adjustable. I am 5’2 and 205lbs and it sits pretty well and I still have a couple inches I could adjust to make longer if needed

the loop to connect the strap on the bag does not sit well and the handle slides up which is quite inconvinient.
