I love this fan. I live in an RV in Arizona and trust me this fan is small but VERY powerful and keeps my RV cool so much that I just had to buy one for each room. It’s easy to put together and easy to install. Don’t think about anymore just buy it and see for yourself. It’s worth the money.

The fan makes a grinding noise on startup and a loud humming while operating. It moves insufficient air for the noise.

I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading the reviews, but I needed a lightweight inexpensive ceiling fan for our front porch. Assembly was a breeze, but make sure the fan blades click into place. When starting up, the fan kicks several times until it reaches operating speed. It’s a bit disconcerting at first. If you just have it hanging by a hook, it may buck itself off. Once up to speed, it produces a very nice airflow. It does have a noticeable hum, about 50 dB; it’s not noisy, but noticeable. There may be better lightweight ceiling fans available, but this will do for what we need.

Ok first off do not hang it by the wire like it’s shown in the pictures obviously. Use the intended hook. After I mounted it by the I just wanted to see what would happen so I held it if your not fast enough it will twist the cord so tight it will break. It’s small, it’s loud, and it does not move a lot of air. It’s 100% thin brittle plastic if you drop it it will break. The price is good though. It works for my intended use. I place mine under an enclosed deck used for storage. Just needed something to move a little air around this summer. You can’t beat the price but don’t have high expectations that this will work anywhere you want to stay cool or can sit around for more than 5-10 minutes

Absolutely love this fan, works fast and cools the room quickly. We hung it below the ac vent to help bring down the cold air and wow, it's cold! It is a little noisy, but that's ok with us as it blocks out the barking dogs, noisy neighbors, and the hum is relaxing. Definitely use 2 hooks, a lock hook with an anchor and 1 for the cord! It jump starts so make sure the blades are locked in! It's a really fast fan! I hope it lasts! Oh, 1 more thing, you definitely need an extension cord, the on off switch is high up, so we just unplug the extension cord.

Seriously, these fans are fantastic. They push plenty of air to cool off the area you're in. Highly recommend for gazebos and tents.
