The aroma really spread nicely - I like the smell of citronella so it was fine by e. I don't think it ran off too many bugs, it's a bit too early in the season foe many to be out.The tins are very nice. I like the printed pattern. The lid fits on pretty firmly but it was not too hard to take it off.I burned it for hours. The wax pooled up but did not melt all the way to the edges of the tin. I was able to cover it up with the lid after it cooled, and will be able to take it out for anther long session, I think.I don't spend a tremendous amount of time outdoors, so this set of 4 should last me all summer.I think that the price of about $24 for the set of 4 when I bought them is pretty reasonable. They would make a nice gift for someone who likes citronella and spends time outdoors.

I really like this candle especially with the 4 pack for $24 right now. That price puts them on par with what I have seen in big box stores. These candles have what seems like the appropriate level of citronella scent. They have got enough of a scent to know they are there but at the same time, it's not overpowering.The candles are good size with about a 5inch diameter, but they aren't super thick. So, I am a little concerned about how fast they are burning. With the 3 wicks lit it seems to have gone pretty fast. If the set is 300hours of burn time that means each candle should burn for about 75 hours. I have only burned one of mine for a few hours for a couple of nights and there is already a noticeable amount of candle gone. If I estimate about 8 hours of burn time, I should be about 10% through the candle but it looks like I am already about 20% or so. I think going forward I will probably only light one or 2 wicks to help slow down the burn especially if it still keeps the mosquitoes away which I think it will.Even with the slightly faster burning time I still like the scent and the candle, so I am happy with my purchase.

This is the second set of citronella candles I recently purchased. Both are equally great, but aesthetically I like these a bit more. First, in terms of function, citronella can be a good defense against bugs if used correctly. They don’t work in the wind, but do provide a nice little protective area.I place them directly where I’m sitting and then also at the ends of my porch as well. It’s a good idea to let them burn a bit before setting up. I like how there are three wicks so you’re getting a decent amount of burn/scent out of “one” candle. They are low to the ground so they won’t tip over.Everyone’s tastes are different, but I personally think these work more as an outdoor candle compared to indoor. The design is a very outdoors-y aesthetic at least to me. You can certainly use them indoors if you want, but I think they look best on a picnic table or outdoor patio.Great product!My star ratings explained:5 stars = Exceptional. These citronella candles are long-lasting and effective at keeping mosquitoes away. The 4-pack provides plenty of coverage, and the scent is pleasant without being overpowering. They are perfect for outdoor gatherings and add a nice touch to the decor. Highly recommend for summer evenings.

I recently screened in my porch and was on the lookout for some cute citronella candles to keep bugs away, and to look stylish, and these candles are perfect. It is a 2 pack, and the jars are massive, so the candles will last awhile. The tin cans around the candles are also very stylish, and they match my patio very well. They have worked well so far at keeping bugs away from the screens.

These candles are HUGE! Way bigger than I expected! Perfect for outdoors on a patio table. The containers are cute as well!

PROS: You get four and a pretty decent price point. Especially since these candles come in a decorative tin. Most citronella candles can look tacky. These have a strong citronella smell. You could smell them before the shipping box was even opened, which is great in my opinion. It works to keep mosquitoes at bay. Each candle comes with 3 wicks, which helped with an even burn.CONS: It could have just been the candle I chose to use, but I felt the burn was quicker. These are definitely in a smaller & less shallow tin than the deeper citronella buckets and candles you will find at a supermarket, so I'm not sure if that's why it felt the burn time was quicker. But overall, the burn was even in the candle, which is a huge perk because I feel some of those deeper candles don't burn evenly, and you end up wasting a portion of the candle anyway.Overall, I'd purchase these candles for our outdoor patio. They are cute, at a decent price point, and work well.
