The storage case is the secret winner
When shooting with both the phone and the Pocket 3, this is a great tool. But the real bonus here is in the storage case at the back of this. The threaded hole is on the side that holds the phone, and if you have the extended battery on the Pocket 3, it can feel a little unwieldy because the weight from the Pocket 3 is as heavy as the phone. This actually works better on a tripod than a selfie stick for that reason. Unfortunately, when I'm using both devices to record, I usually want them in different locations so that I'm getting different shooting angles.

Solid Quality, Unbalanced Design
This phone-camera holder for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 works well. The clamp holds a smartphone securely (Google Pixel, 6.3"/16cm screen). The holder clamps around the camera and is easily released. The build quality seems good. The holder provides an additional 1/4"-20 tripod-style mount below the phone. You also get a cold-shoe mount for use with an external microphone (for example). One downside of this unit's design, is that it puts the smartphone off to the left of the camera. While you do still have access to all the camera buttons and display, having the smartphone way off to the side makes for a very unbalanced experience. Since the smartphone is much heavier than the camera, if you hold the camera side while using, the setup wants to constantly rotate counter clockwise. My wrist would get tired very quickly using it in this way.I prefer designs that either have the smartphone in front of or below the camera. The other option would be to have a handle provided that has the weight more balanced between the camera and smartphone.Another downside of using this kind of holder is you can no longer use the protective sleeve that came with the camera. I don't fault the design of this camera-phone mount, there just isn't a way around it and you have to decide which you want to use, the holder or the protector. At 19.99 at the time of purchase, this holder is comparable in price and features to other similar products. I would buy a different one with a more balanced design if I had to do it again.

Not what I wanted but works
I would have preferred a mount that can hold the phone better maybe a locking mechanism
