Yes, I am typing this response on a computer where a 38mm x 38mm Kryosheet is installed. I even had to reinstall the cooler with no harm to the sheet or change in cooling. Processor, i7-13700KF. Cooler iQue H170i Elite.

However, the die shape of the 1080ti is roughly a 5:4 aspect ratio so, at minimum, you'd likely need the 25x25 size pad. Do keep in mind that there are a bunch of SMDs around the die, so you may want to cover them with something since kryosheet is electrically conductive ("electricians bundling tape" is my current go-to solution as it's like electrical tape but is less permanent and doesn't leave behind any stickiness much like painter's tape). Also, protip: a single drop of Isopropyl alcohol on the die and then placing the KryoSheet on top of it will help keep the KryoSheet in place when reattaching the CPU heatsink.

7840u would fit with the 24x12mm?

However, the die shape of the 7840u is roughly a 10:7 aspect ratio, meaning the shorter axis should actually be less than the KryoSheet's 12mm width and therefore should fit without issue. It is a solid piece of carbon nanotubes, and it can be re-used. I have cut the sheets to size, and scissors did not ruin the material.
