A beautiful contemporary romance
I took a chance on this book, a new author story and I loved it. What a beautiful read. Absolute page turner. I truly enjoyed reading, learning, experience all the highs and lows. The sexual tension, the emotional turmoil and the true happy ending is swoonworthy and OMG. I highly recommend this book to romance lovers and anyone who wants a happily ever after. The story flows beautifully and enrapture you until the very end.

sweet read
Surprisingly sweet read. There is some plot there too which I wish had been explored more. It defo could have been a duet and gone into more. The ending was a bit rushed. Overall a nice quick read.

Absolutely amazing
This book was absolutely fantastic.Honestly can't wait to read more by this author. This is kind of like a cinderella story. How does one reacts to finding out you slept with the king in waiting. And having a baby by the Prince. Absolutely great#kbsbloggingandreviews

Sensational
This book was as an absolute pleasure to read! From start to finish it had me gripped. Loved the outcome, although those poor boys learning of their father’s betrayal was sad! I assume Dahlia will be telling the story of her & her own prince next! :)

Royally unexpected
Well... I expected this book to be a little raunchy, a bit of fun and less substance but I was pleasantly surprised. Prince Charlie is your typical play boy in his twenties having his way with whatever and whoever he wants, and loves to rebel against his father the king.Elle is an orphan who uses her hardworking demeaned and athletic talent to drive her to where she wants to be. So what could go wrong when people from the opposite end of the tracks have a spark they cannot deny. It’s saucy, it’s secretive, it’s sexy. But there’s so much more. I loved watching their story unfold, I loved the incredible support and sass from bestie Dahlia and most of all I love a scandal. With a controlling and scheming father, centuries old traditions and an uphill battle can PrinceCharlie and Elle defy the odds or is it just yet another scandal unfolding before our eyes? The story was enticing and fun but filled with heartbreak, struggles, love and chosen families. A perfect life s not what it seems and someone with so little has everything they need right in front of their eyes. What a journey. Its profanities and naughtiness had me laughing. Unapologetic behaviours had me smug and blatant snotty attitudes left a bitter taste in my mouth. I’m glad I continued with the story.

A happy afternoons distraction.
This is what a call a happy little fluffy read. Sometimes it’s just what you need. I read it from beginning to end in an afternoon. I’m about to start book two, and look forward to reading about Charlie’s brothers too. Definitely recommend it if you want to escape for a few hours ....

A Quick Read with Fantastic Drama!
This quick, adorable standalone was a delight to read. It was well written, had a great plot with good pacing, and had a cast of characters that were easy to fall in love with. The author did a great job with keeping the balance between the romance, the drama, and the angst, making this book easy to get lost in and hard to put down. Since this book is a standalone in a connected series of standalones, it tells a complete story but still connects with the rest of the series. As this book deals with some heavy topics, trigger warnings will be included at the end of my review on Goodreads for those who need them. For her entire college career, Elle has been focused on one thing: training to win the biggest rowing competition in the country; using the prize money and her rowing scholarships to stay at her prestigious college and get a degree she can use to support herself in the future. As an orphan who was adopted later in life, she knows the importance riding on her ability to stay focused, but despite her best efforts, she can’t resist the opportunity to dress up for a night and sneak into the most anticipated party of the year: Prince Charles’ birthday party where it’s rumoured he’ll be choosing a wife. When her party crashing leads to a steamy, reckless tryst with the Prince himself, Elle panics but can’t bring herself to regret the moment, and despite her plan to avoid him and keep their time together as nothing more than a memory, Prince Charlie isn’t ready to let her go.As time passes and Elle and Charlie grow closer and closer, complications within the castle walls threaten to tear them apart, and as Elle discovers a shocking truth that has the potential to change their lives forever, they need to decide if being together is worth not only their future together, but the future of the entire kingdom as well. The plot of this book was super cliché and I loved it! I’m a sucker for a good accidental pregnancy trope, and combined with the royal/commoner aspect of this book, it was deliciously tropey and great fun to read. It had lots of good drama and complications to keep the story interesting, and though I’m not particularly a fan of a third act breakup, the author did a good job with it in this book. The plot made sure to give time for not only the spicy and sweet romance to bloom, but the scheming and underhanded problems to fester as well, taking readers along on a fast moving journey to this couple’s happily ever after.Like the rest of the story, the romance between the MCs was fast moving, but it worked incredibly well in this book. The author gave time for the MCs to know each other inside and outside the bedroom, and with the help of the dual POVs, it gave readers confidence in the HEA this couple was fighting for. Though it moved a bit too fast in my opinion, I still loved the ending to this book, especially loving the epilogue that gave a glimpse into the future for this couple. All in all, this was a quick, cute read that was well written, entertaining, and put a smile on my face.

couldn’t put it down
Okay this was better than I was thinking it would be.The blurb drew me in but the characters captured my attention. A great contemporary twist on Cinderella.Steamy, with great chemistry, political mechanics and betrayals galore. Oh that brutal twist at the end…epic! Loved it!! Poor boys though. Glad they got justice though.Loved that the leading lady was no shrinking violet either. A powerful, motivated athlete with a goal in mind and the will to see it through.

Bad Prince Indeed!
Charlie can me my bad prince any day of the week!It was fast paced, exhilarating, there relationship forbidden, there love provocative, the romance heartwarming and beautiful, there love so passionate, they desire each other above all else, defying those who would get in there way.The truths, the lies it always circles back, knowing that it’s wrong, but knowing that it’s right. When left with little to no choice, backed into a tight corner, he does what only he can, and then, his mother, his guardian angel gives him what he never thought he’d get, the truth and the honest love of a woman. And those love scenes in and out of the bedroom were deliciously wicked, steamy, oh so hot, dirty, wet, passionate and wild, and f@#$ yes to there happily ever after, this author knows how to write and keep her readers engaged and have them coming back for more!

Sweet fairytale romance
This was a sweet fairytale romance that reminded me of Cinderella a little. Well...if Cinderella had sex with the Prince in the gym before midnight. Overall it was a good story.

MODERN DAY SEXY CINDERELLA
I loved it! It really is like a modern day Cinderella but with way more mystery, suspense and lots and lots of set your crotch on fire smokin hot sex. Elle is strong but vulnerable and she's determined to make something of herself. Never knowing her real parents and growing up in foster care made her a stronger person, she knows what she capable of and what she wants and that's to be loved. Her adoptive parents Tina and Frank are both special people who love her and she loves them but something has still always been missing and the fact that she comes from the poor part of the Kingdom she goes to a rich college on a rowing scholarship and for three years she's tormented and until she meets Prince Charlie she's never felt beautiful or as loved as he makes her feel. Elle's roommate Dahlia is unusual but she's fun and outgoing and she's kind of a free spirit. I loved her character. She's happy go lucky and she's a very trustworthy friend and she is values her friendship to Elle. Charlie and Elle feel this strong overwhelming attraction to each other and their chemistry is off the charts smokin hot. Neither of them can deny the explosive feeling they have for one another. This book pulled at my heartstrings alittle because no matter how much they felt for each other or how much they loved each other there were always unspoken forces in the background that would never let them be together and Elle always down to earth knew it. I really enjoyed this book. At time the excitement was suspenseful and at times I laughed and times I cried. I recommend this book to everyone it romantic and erotic and is just a feel good story.
