best m.2 nvme 2230 ssd available right now. read/write speeds awesome. stress testing mine, it self controls speed transfer at 81.c, reducing speed by only 40MBs +cooling to 77.c then lets rip again a 2nd card, never reaches 80.c, so i mustve gotten 1x dodgy card?

Got this to upgrade my steam deck storage, and it works great.

So I picked this up specifically for my Sharge Disk M.2 2230 enclosure and honestly, this thing rips. The speeds are no joke. Moving files around is stupid fast, way faster than any regular SSD I've used. For work I'm constantly transferring 100+ GB files and this has been a game changer. What used to take forever on my old thumb drives now finishes in minutes. Plus I was always running out of space on that thing and having to juggle files. The 2TB capacity means I can just keep everything on here without worrying about it. The size is what really blows my mind though. It's SO small for a 2TB drive. Fits perfectly in my enclosure and I swap it between my Steam Deck and PC constantly. Game load times are noticeably better on the Deck, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I was a little worried about heat in such a small package but it runs surprisingly cool even during long gaming sessions or big file transfers. No throttling issues at all. Build quality feels solid, it's Corsair so that's expected. Been using it daily for a couple weeks now and zero issues. Battery life on portable devices seems fine too, doesn't seem to drain faster than other drives I've tried. If you're looking to build a high speed portable drive or upgrade your Steam Deck this is 100% worth it. The combo of size, speed and capacity is hard to beat.

Works great as an upgrade to my Steamdeck, but works fine in other devices that uses M2 2230 formfaktor. NOTE, replacing it in a Steamdeck require some basic skills and light touch, otherwise you can damage your Steamdeck. if you do not want to keep the existing installs, it is easy to make a USB recovery stick and reinstall the SteamOS, cloning the Steamdeck can be daunting for regular Windows user.
