Algarve Marco Polo Holiday Map (Marco Polo Holiday Maps)

This proved to be very useful on our recent holiday. Quickly delivered after placing my order. I had left ordering until the last minute. Too late according to the delivery time quoted but it still arrived 2 days before we flew out of the country. Well made, clearly printed with a plastic coating which made it very durable. The only drawback, and this is minor is that not all of the smaller villages/town were shown. We did a lot of driving on this holiday and our planning and navigating was achieved successfully with this map.

A small and glossy (looks waterproof) map. It got us out of trouble when the rented satnav led us astray, which was nice. Incidentally, this rented satnav did not know about the one-way system in Portimao (or maybe it did, but I was being thick), Anyway, this map saved us from hours of random driving around.

Great map at a good price. It's fully laminated and, although it's small when folded, it opens up to a decent sized map with lots of useful detail.

I have bought several of these maps now for use when we go on holiday. They are very hard wearing and durable and we use them while driving and also cycling.

This map was useful and made of a nice robust material - I used it driving around the Algarve in a hire car. The scale is a bit small - I would have struggled without a satnav although the road signs were generally very good. The may has a system of indicating what is worth seeing and what isn't, which was useful.

Bought this to plan a holiday in Portugal. It is easy to read and had the main roads on it that we needed. Since then, we can use our data allowance abroad so would rely more on Google maps on the phone for getting to a location. However, having a paper map does make it easier to plan where to go and which route to take to visit places along the way.
