Effective but gentle magnesium supplement
I've tried several magnesium supplements and this Magnesium from MD Prescriptives seems to be the best that I've tried. I take magnesium to help me relax before bed, and also to help decrease muscle spasms. This MD Prescriptives Magnesium does relax my mind and body, and doesn't give me the undesired side effect that other brands have. Overall I feel like it's high quality and has less fillers. My only complaint is the high price which prevents me from taking it as often as I'd like.

good product but too expensive
MD Prescriptives - Magnesium MD - Highly Absorbable Dietary Magnesium Supplement with Glycinate & Acetyl Taurinate - 120 Capsules. My husband and I take magnesium regularly and have been for many years. We often use the powdered form and just put some in our morning coffee. There are a lot of different forms of magnesium, and different reasons to take a particular form. This product is a combination of mag. Glycinate and mag. Acetyltaurinate. A little online research, and you can learn all about the different forms, and what they do best. The list of extra ingredients that it doesn’t have is exhaustive, and I appreciate that. It does contain white rice concentrate, of which, I am not a fan. It comes in a glass bottle, which doesn’t matter as much with capsules, but we are trying to rid ourselves of plastic in every way possible these days. I may have missed it but I looked for an expiration date, and just could not find one. I would expect a mineral supplement to last a long time so I’m not too worried about it. I plan to use these mostly when travelling, because of the convenient capsule form. however these capsule are on the large size and if you have problems swallowing pills, then these might not be for you. There are a lot of ways to get Magnesium in to your diet, and while I think this is a good quality product, it sells for over $50 for a one month supply, which is just not sustainable for me.

magnesium in glycinate and acetyltaurinate forms
I really like that this magnesium is in glycinate and acetyltaurinate forms and the description says it is potentially easier for the body to absorb. I had also previously been supplementing with taurine anyway. I use the recommended serving of 3 capsules of this, but that equates to 113% of the recommended DV of magnesium, so you if you need less you might be able to take fewer capsules.

Magnesium supplement formulated with magnesium!
Magnesium MD by MD Prescriptives is a magnesium supplement that gives you 113% of your %DV in three pills. Three pills is too many for me to take just for a magnesium supplement frankly. I already have too many capsules to take already. According to the label on the bottle, this is '3rd party verified to be non-gmo.' Since GMO stands for genetically modified organism, I'm a little confused how magnesium, which is obviously a mineral and distinctly not an organism, can claim to be non-gmo and/or have any relevance? Doesn't say where it is made or who makes it. The company listed MD Prescriptives says it is 'exclusively manufactured for and formulated by' them. Doesn't seem like the formulation is something unique or different as it's a single mineral supplement and it contains magnesium. Maybe I'm missing something. MD Prescriptives has their physical and web address listed along with their phone number so they seem open and easy to connect with should you need to, although they physical address on the label doesn't match the one listed on their website. Clearly states the lot number in the bottom. The name of the company, MD Presctiptives is...interesting. In health care, we all know that MD stands for doctor of medicine and is a designation that indicates someone who has completed medical school. Prescriptive is form of the word prescription. So it is supposed to mean doctor's prescription; because of course it's not. Speaking of which, check with your real doctor before starting this or any new supplement. Comes in a nice glass bottle, if that matters to you. Seems expensive to me, but when paying for hot air that's usually par for the course.
