It works well. It can operate on vhf and uhf channels and some cable channels.
I use it to route a roku device audio and video from the den to bedroom.

Works great!
We hooked an old 1960’s black and white antenna TV to this device and are now able to stream Roku services onto the old black and white TV. Perfect as a functioning nostalgia item for our bar.

Doesn’t last long— Don’t buy!!
Please be aware before purchasing this product. This works amazing for a month or two and just stops working. I purchased in mid of February, hardly used once or twice, and now it is just May and it has stopped working. Please look for other products!

Terrible directions! It finally works.
I’m usually pretty good at electronics and hooking up networks. There are no instructions and I have not been able to figure this out. Wasted my money. Live and learn.Edit: After a lot of trial and error I finally got it figured out. Video and audio quality is good but documentation is poor by my standards.

super cool, able to broadcast old tv stations in your room to hookup many tvs at once, you can connect a computer, vhs player, dvd player, old tape camcorder, possibilities are endless and it’s a lot of fun, especially if you’re into crt glitch art!

Devil is in the details! High Definition IN but low definition OUT.
Number of stars is a challenge here. On the one hand, this does EXACTLY as the technical specs says. But the reality is that the product is misleading that it is stamped "Full HD" and the description shows the signal going to a TV labeled "HD".This device takes a 1080p HDMI source in and sends the picture OUT over NTSC 480i. This is probably fine for certain use cases but winds up resulting in poor video quality. Furthermore, your TV must have an analog tuner in it.The directions are brief yet highly technical. Despite a solid foundation in basic electronic theory, I had a difficult time understanding the instructions for a basic setup. I set them aside and simply plugged the device in and managed to figure it out. This would absolutely be a five-star product if the instructions were better written AND if the product description made it clear that the resolution of the output was 480i.

Really works.
I wanted to get rid of Comcast and their rinky dink converter. Thanks to this widget I can use a Fire Stick and still use my older tv in our kitchen.
