The pic shows the base of the handle is weighted, but it is not. The basket floats to the top when the pump is off just like a regular skimmer basket. I chose this one because it said it was weighted :(

The media could not be loaded.  This appears to be a reasonable choice. Initially, I intended to use my regular skimmer baskets with the basket handles from this set. However, I find that the skimmer baskets provided in this set are of superior quality compared to those typically included with most basic pools. I appreciate the small size of the grates, which effectively prevents debris from recirculating into the pool. While I was eager to try the handles, they proved to be somewhat disappointing. They are basic plastic and tend to bend, raising concerns about their durability. Additionally, the only way to remove these handles is by lifting the skimmer baskets and unscrewing the screws each time. This poses an inconvenience, especially when using skimmer socks, so I doubt I will be utilizing these handles much. I wish there was a quick-release option, such as a twist lock, for easier removal and reattachment of the handles. The metal hook included in the set is a nice touch and eliminates the need to reach into the pool's skimmer to retrieve the skimmer basket, which is a welcomed feature. Overall, while this set presents itself as a reasonable option, it does not surpass expectations or offer significant improvements in terms of convenience for pool maintenance.
