Honest and insightful read
I’ve been following Vex for quite a while on Instagram and really appreciate his authenticity and insightful posts that align with my own life, and knew I wanted to read his books. This particular book brought about deeper acceptance, acknowledgement, and recognition that self-trust/self-love is at the heart of all healthy relationships with your partner, your family, and everyone in between, communicated to us in the gentle, compassionate and articulate way that Vex is known for. So glad I had a chance to read this book and hope to read his other books soon.

Something everyone should read
I highly recommend this book for anyone who was born in the mid and late 90s.. even early 2000s. We weren’t taught soo much and this book has helped me heal and find genuine connections with people .

Honest, astute and very much needed
This book put down in words every lesson about love I’ve learnt throughout my life, and more! This book taught me more about myself and other than what I ever expected.. thank you Vex for such an insightful and thorough analysis of life and relationships and for allowing us to open our eyes and auto-evaluate regarding how we love, both external people and ourselves. After all, it does all start inside us!
