Better than the TP-Link 1200 it replaced and half the price..
Spot on. I bought gnis after having a TP-Link router that i needed support for. It was inder guarantee but not having internet access meant i needed a quick resolution. After 45 minutes on the phone to them only for them to tell me it needed a replacement unit and this will be sorted quickly. It took 2 days to get a reply asking me questions. 2 days later another email asking the same questions and still no replacement unit. I gave up after a week and bought this Cudy rounter. It was easy to set up and it works flawlessly. And it's seems faster. Better than the TP-Link one. I got another email from TP-Link 10 days later saying i couldn't have a replacement anyway.

Cudy AC 1200 SIM Broadband router - Review
This is an excellent SIM Broadband Router. Totally ideal for those who cannot access a hardwired cable feed at there property. The additional external antenna has also helped to massively improve the cell signal and have had no problems since installation. A real thumbs up to this product.

almost perfect
If you live in an urban area I'm sure this will work great for you, I live rurally. It is simple to set up, comes with an app and is easy to use. Fully functioning, stable connection just a bit on the weak side when it comes to picking up signal. Still fine for streaming, just would never work for any gamers in weak signal areas.

Good router at reasonable cost.
Bought this because it has the screw on SMA connections for external antennas and gives strong, solid connection (unlike the weedy TS9 plugs that fall off constantly). Works excellently as a router (4g).

Works well in poor-signal environments
I live in an area with no landline internet (or phone) access. Mobile internet is available, but the signal quality is often poor to non-existent, and is usually slow. Weather is a major factor in signal quality, and the weather changes a *lot* where I live. I have an iPhone and an Android phone that I can use as hotspots, but, despite living in a small home, even the WiFi coverage is flaky. I’ve tried using cheap (but reputable brand) WiFi extenders but didn’t notice any improvement in coverage or performance. After a particularly frustrating set of weather, I got desperate enough to seek another solution to mobile phone hotspotting. I first checked if any terrestrial ISPs had brought civilisation to my neck of the woods, but no such luck. I even considered Starlink but the monthly price is a little out of my financial reach (only just, I’d have gone for it if it were 25% cheaper). So, I looked for an alternative and found the Cudy.. Setup was trivial. I transferred the SIM from my Android phone to the Cudy, screwed on the two interchangeable antennae, plugged the Cudy into its power supply, and was up and running within seconds. Brilliant. So far, I have experienced no dropouts or loss of signal, and I can pick up WiFi throughout my home without any connectivity problems. I only wish I’d bought Cudy sooner! (Yes, I’m so pleased with the improvement that I’ve named the router)
