I like Power Stop's OEM upgrade and mild performance upgrade brake kits. They are very well priced for the quality and durability. As easy to install as a regular set of rotors and pads. Fitment was perfect. Came with all the stuff I needed to replace the pads and rotors, even came with a little bit of caliper pin grease. Ever since upgrading to PS slotted rotors, i've experienced better brake performance in stopping distance (even when the brakes are wet), as well as reduced brake fade and no rotor warping. So long as you follow the bed in process (that they lay out simply for you), then you will greatly increase the performance and lifespan of your PS brakes. Another bonus is that these are so beefy, you can replace your pads a few times before replacing your rotors... just be sure to inspect the rotors closely every pad change, and do the bed in procedure... that is a must. I will definitely continue to purchase PS brake parts for both me and my customer's

The kit comes with everything needed including new rubber caliper pin boots. I replaced the calipers also so I didn't need the extra parts but the parts are all OEM quality if needed. Performance after installation is excellent. No noise and a great feel to the brakes. The plating on the rotors makes them look like wristwatch parts. This is a very nice feature if you live in the rust belt where the roads are salted every winter. This is my 5th vehicle retrofit with PS parts and I'll never buy another brand. The ceramic pads leave zero dust and stop like no other.

We purchased this kit and it arrived quickly. We ordered these for our 2005 Silverado SS and they fit perfectly. But, you should always check the manufacturer's website fitment page to make sure. We checked before purchasing, so were confident that the parts would fit. Most of the problems we saw on the reviews were because they didn't fit the vehicle they were ordered for. If you have a Silverado with rear drums, it is important that you check with the manufacturer's website to be sure you are getting the correct ones. We installed it and everything fit correctly and followed the break in procedure and these brakes work great. It is important that you follow the break in procedure correctly. Having dealt with ceramic brakes before, we knew how critical it is, so were careful to follow the correct procedure. The kit comes with the glides, boots, pads and the proper grease for the bolts. But be aware that if you are going to replace the boots on your caliper bolts, you will want the correct tool to install them, to prevent tearing the boot. It is possible to use a deep socket of the correct diameter, but some parts stores might rent the correct tool to install them. Good quality and a good upgrade.I will be buying this brand again.

I needed to put new brake shoes on my 2001 Chevy Suburban 1500 LS, so knowing I had purchased other car parts from Amazon I thought I would check. Low and behold there was a set of pads and drilled and slotted rotors. I read a number of reviews and based on others recommendations I thought I would give it a try. This was definitely a cheaper option then my local auto parts supplier. My son and I spent about 2 hours one Saturday morning installing these. It was straight forward as we have experience with brakes already. I seated the brakes based on the instructions and have been using them for about 4 months now. They seem to stop better then the factory brakes did. I don't seem to get any brake fade at all. I also no longer have any noise when braking. These work great. Fit on my 2002 GMC Yukon Denali perfectly. The pads require a break in, but came with instructions. Follow them to a “T” and you won’t have any issues. It has been nice to have quality breaks on the truck for a reasonable cost. It’s also nice not having my wheels turn black from break dust. If they made these for my other vehicles, I would have already bought them.

Power Stop K2009 Front Ceramic Brake Pad and Rotor kit is a great all in one brake replacement kit. Fit perfectly on my 04 Avalanche Z71 and look great to boot. The kit came with everything needed to properly replace and install your front brake pads and rotors. I am an ex-mechanic that was ASE certified in brakes. The rotors were even labeled so that you knew where to put them. I took my time to clean and lube the wheel hubs as well as the brake caliper bracket to make sure everything that is suppose to move does so and to prevent rust jacking. The brake pad kit included the ceramic carbon fiber pads with shims installed, new caliper slide brackets, new rubber bellow boots and bushings for the caliper slide. My only complaint about the kit is that the brake grease packet was broken open inside the box. Luckily the brake pads were covered in plastic which prevented them from becoming contaminated by the grease. But there were some holes in that plastic. I followed the break in procedure using my churches parking lot. The very first brake application was a little rough, but everything has been smooth ever since. They are an improvement over my worn out brakes. Hopefully they will help prevent brake fade while towing my camper. I look forward to seeing how well they hold up and work after getting several thousand miles on them. I will update my review if something changes that I feel needs to be addressed.

UPDATE: after 20000 km these are performing great!
