Fixed my issue.

Do not recommend for ford Ranger 1996 4cyl
1st egr was for a v6 ranger so I returned it ,2nd egr they sent me was not oem fit and it didn’t sit right . At this point I gave the new egr a chance and drove my truck for 2weeks and the symptoms got worst so I just cleaned out the oem one and the new one is trashed total loss of money and time labor
