Awesome product for a first time breastfeeding mom
To be able to have over 2 gallons of milk frozen for my 6 week old already, I would not say this product is too expensive. I would pay a lot more than $25 for that peace of mind. Plus it has saved me at least that amount in nursing pads. I have an oversupply problem and a forceful painful letdown. I leak, on average, 3 oz per breast during a feeding. I purchased this product when my milk had been in for 4 days (baby was a week old) because I was going through 4 nursing pads every time I nursed. It has been a dream! I have saved a ton of milk. Since my son has a cleft lip, I wanted to make sure I have a nice frozen supply of milk for after his corrective surgery since he won't be able to breastfeed for a few weeks. This has helped me do just that. PROS: 1. Inexpensive for the peace of mind it provides and it has saved me a ton of money on disposable nursing pads. 2. Easy to use, sticks well to your skin and fits in every nursing bra I have. 3. Easy to clean. 4. Love the case to keep it clean in my diaper bag. CONS: 1. Attaching a bag is a pain and eventually I stopped trying. I always felt like I was going to rip it off when I was repositioning baby. 2. The stand is a little tippy. Makes me feel like the Milkie will tip, though I have yet to do so. 3. Whole device (with case) is rather bulky. All in all, I love my Milkie! The pros FAR outweigh the cons in my book.

Cool breastfeeding tool!
I received this milk saver just today, and haven't had a chance to use it yet, as my baby is still "incubating". I wish I had had one of these for my first two girls though, as I remember being so wet even with the nursing pads, and feeling frustrated when I would throw them away full of milk. Also when I would go to change my baby to my other breast to feed, the milk would already be gone into the pad, and they wouldn't get anything. I am looking forward to saving every drop. As one reviewer stated your breast milk really is "liquid gold". And if you've ever been up in the middle of the night with a screaming baby trying to defrost breast milk, you know what I mean. I can't wait to use it and not have to worry about transferring my "sleeping infant" to the other breast to feed if she's already full. I can just store that milk for later, and get both sides equally used. The only thing about this that I have to say so far is that it's true that it seems rather large. I think they really designed it like that on purpose to fit all size breasts, and for engorged nipples and such. Even though I had read all the reviews about how big it was, I was still surprised at the size when I pulled it out of the box. Also it's not as "flexible" with the silicone as I would have thought from looking at the photos. I have posted some pics for reference on the item description page with a measuring tape, so that you can see exactly how big it is with the case too. I plan on putting it in my bag for the hospital so that I can use it right away, and the case seemed a little large. I'm still going to "make it fit" anyway though. To me it's totally worth the price and size, even though I haven't had a chance to use it yet!

Great product, but so expensive for what you get!
This is a great product! I am a professional product reviewer, however, I purchased this product full price as a consumer. I wanted something to help collect all the extra breastmilk that I was leaking and just wasting throughout the day. I looked into the top 3 products like this on the market and read descriptions and other peoples reviews and finally decided on this product. Although this is an expensive product, and the reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, it does work very well and I am so glad I purchased it. The other products like this on the market are designed more to capture leaking breastmilk as a reusable nursing pad, and not to collect the milk for storage. This was the only product I found specifically designed to store breastmilk. It works very well! It is easy to use, the case doubles as a holder to place the full cup in while you put baby down so that you don't spill the collected breastmilk, and it holds a good amount of milk. The way it fits, you can still reach your breast to hand express milk with your free hand into the collector to increase the amount of milk you collected. I love everything about this product. The size is large, but it does not bother me. I would have given this product 5 stars, but as a nursing mother, I think that $28 for 1 storage cup is very expensive. This company says that it is all about mothers and babies, but charging a steep price for one product is against that in my opinion. Other products like this one are almost half the price and come with 2 cups. I think that they should include an additional storage cup, or drop the price slightly and then I would fully stand behind this product. Unfortanatly I found this was the best product out there for collecting and storing leaking breastmilk, so I felt my only choice was to pay the steep price. For those of you who can pump on your non nursing side, while your baby is nursing, you can avoid purchasing this product. For me, it is just to hard trying to balance baby and a pump, so this product is for my convinence. I hope you found this review helpful. If so please click the yes button! Thank you for reading

It came with a greasy silicone smell, could not be washed off with dish soap, also tried vinegar and baking soda, didn't help much. Do NOT believe is food grade silicone, it's very cheap looking and hard. Also very bulky, does the job, but it s definitely not worth the price.

Awesome item for any nursing mom. Doesn't stimulate milk production and salvages what would otherwise be lost in a breastpad or bra. Can highly recommend.

Trop gros. Pas pratique. Les coquilles d’allaitement sont beaucoup mieux. Plus discrètes, confortables et pratiques car on les porte sous le soutien-gorge.
