Great fitting earbuds for any music taste with good ANC.
Started going to the gym and my experience with my old earbuds wasn't great. So I needed waterproof buds with an over-ear hook and preferably noise cancelling (best will in the world, my music tastes are somewhat different from those normally played in a gym so that isolation was needed). So I bought these, the Sport X20s in black which offered all that. Firstly, they come with different sizes of silicon earpiece so you can get a good fit in your ear canal and the don't pop out, even when getting a bit sweaty or doing vigorous exercise. The ear hooks really help with that. The battery life appears to be really good, though I've not had them on beyond a couple of hours at a time. Charging is really quick though. The active noise cancellation is surprisingly good (you can choose to have it active, not on at all or transparent, all done through the associated app) and means I can isolate nicely with my own tunes. The app itself can also adjust the EQ intelligently for your own ear requirements based on a simple to run through test followed by an a/b preference page. It works really well (I'd say do it twice so the first time is to get a feel of what to do, then second is how you want to hear your music). I'm a metalhead and whilst most buds don't accommodate for that (there's usually waaaay too much bass added for the electronic fans which muddies things for metal given how it is usually layered and mixed; a bit more complex sonically) the active EQ makes everything sit nicely with clarity. They really are excellent quality with great features, excellent fit and comfort, great sound quality and the app makes things easy for you to make the sound/noise cancellation features work for you. Great value too. Very much recommended.

Really good, ignore the negative reviews!
I've had these for a while now, around half a year and they are really good! I rate them and I'd recommend them (especially when on sale!) I use these for gym and running so have created this review for others looking for a good pair of earphones for the same purpose primarily. Let's look at the pros and cons Pros: - Sound quality: These do have really good sound quality, don't be fooled by others reviews. Are they the best money can buy....no.....however you're not paying hundreds for these. High volume and really nice crisp sounds, they do cancel noise really well as a bonus. It doesn't make it completely silent but really does dull it down quite a surprising amount. These are loud, ignore the reviews that say otherwise they clearly have hearing damage, I usually have these on half volume with a samsung s25 and it's more than enough, sometimes up above that but only by a bit, full volume is just uncomfortable for me. - Durability: I've had no issues at all with these, they've taken a bit of a beating and kept on going without a flaw to the sound quality. - Battery: Nothing short of gobsmacking. I do only wear these for around an hour at a time however the case has only been charged twice since I got these, I keep seeing the battery percentage and being shocked it's not lower, really impressed with the battery on these and they don't show sign of stopping or slowing down in this department. - Comfort/size: Personally I've had no issues in this area at all, they fit great (it does come with additional ear buds if you need a different size) and stay on importantly without needing to be pushed back in constantly. They fit nice and snug in the ear meaning you don't lose any of the sound quality. - Connectivity/portability: There's not much I can say about portability, its a small smart looking case, it'll fit in your pocket, need I say more? Re connectivity they fire up and connect to my phone within seconds and I've never had the connection drop...never! They do well and for an added bonus you can download the app (free) and customise the sound to your liking. I can't really knock the app past the initial set up, yes I know its another thing to have to do, but it's worth it! Cons: I don't really have any gripes with these, yes there are probably better sounding ones but these for the price are genuinely great and I really believe to get a better sounding pair you'd be jumping up to spending hundreds so I can't knock these for value for money. They've lasted well and have all of the above benefits , perfect for gym and running, and generally if you like your music and don't want to fork out hundreds or wear great gawdy headphones I'd go for these as well! Initially with all of the discounts you always see on these earphones I did wonder if they were genuine or if it was a marketing knock down, well I bit the bullet and am glad I did, hopefully this helps some of you who are wondering the same!

Comfy and stay in your ear
I was looking for an alternative to my Airpod Pro's for use in the gym as I didn't want to ruin my Airpods with sweat and I just find that the Airpods have a tendency to occasionally drop out of my ear when i'm working out. So when looking for a pair of headphones they needed to be reasonably priced, they needed to be waterproof/sweatproof and they needed to be over the ear fitting. I've used quite a few products from Anker previously, so know that they make very good products. I was more than happy to take a chance on these headphones rather than paying half the price for a pair from a company i've never heard of before. There was also a 20% discount applied at the time of buying which brought the price down even further. After having used these a few times now I have been very happy with them. Most importantly they are easy to fit and stay in place when working out. I have zero worries that these could ever drop out during an activity. They are also comfortable and once on I forget that they are there. The included charging case is a bit cheap feeling because it is so light compared to the Airpod charging case. It is USB-C (no wireless charging, but I'm not fussed about that) but comes with a ridiculously small charging cable that they shouldn't have bothered including one as it'll never be used. They did come with about ¾ charge so you are able to use them straight away. They were easy to connect to my phone and the connection has been stable while using them. There is an app you can download which allows you to set the sound preferences to your liking and this works well and is easy to use. there is a single button on each earpiece and you can use the app to customise what feature this operates. I like to set the one earpeice so that with a single press of the button it plays/pauses and a double press of the button it skips to the next track. This is where these headphones lost a star for me, as the double press of the button only seems to work 50% of the time and I invariably find it pausing the track instead of skipping it. This isn't a deal breaker for me as I can just use my phone or watch to skip to the next track instead. Overall sound quality is ok, as is the noise cancelling for the price but will never replace a decent set of headphones for me. However for use whilst working out the quality is more than adequate and the noise cancelling does drown out the awful gym music well enough. I am happy with the headphones and would recommend them to others.

Great earbuds for running, exercising and workouts.
So far, the Soundcore Sport X20 have been a great pair of wireless earbuds. I purchased these for running and workouts, as my current pair of Apple AirPods Pro are great, but I found they weren't brilliant when exercising, as they would come loose or drop out of my ears. I must say, I have found the Scoundcores earbuds to be excellent. They were easy to pair and set up, and I downloaded the APP from the Apple App Store to fine-tune the earbuds. The sound quality is excellent, probably as good as my AirPods. But the best part is that they fit exceptionally well, and when I'm running, they stay securely in place. They are comfortable and lightweight. The toggle buttons work well for play/pause/skip and various sound modes. Charging is simple using the supplied charger/storage case, and the earbuds charge quickly. Battery life appears to be as described. Overall, super happy and worth the money.

Fantastic Value - A Worthy Beats Replacement! ★★★★★
I've been a loyal Beats user for years but decided it was time for a change, and I am so glad I went with these. Switching from such a big brand felt like a bit of a risk, but it has absolutely paid off, especially considering the price difference. The biggest difference for me is the fit. These are incredibly secure and comfortable. I took them for a run around Woodhouse Moor this evening, and they didn't budge once. There was no constant readjusting and no fear of one falling out, which was a frequent frustration I had with my old pair. The sound quality is brilliant – really crisp and clear with a nice, balanced profile that I think I actually prefer. Now, is the active noise cancellation as intensely powerful as my old Beats? Honestly, no. But here's the thing: considering these were a fraction of the price, the fact that the ANC is still this good is amazing. It easily blocks out the background noise at the gym and the general rumble of the bus. For the huge cost saving, it's a tiny compromise that I would make every single time. To get this level of sound quality and a secure fit for a fraction of the price of the big-name brands is just incredible value. If you're on the fence, just do it. Highly recommended.

A few issues but not bad
These are my second Soundcore earbuds. I also purchased the Space A40 which were okay but didn't stay in the ear that well, so thought I would get the Sport X20 for running instead. First impressions, the sound is good and they look nice. But again, they don't seem to stay in properly even with the ear hooks ( I tried all the included rubber sizes). The hooks will definitely help with them not being lost as they won't drop to the floor but just getting a decent seal is good until I make any movement with my face and then they become slightly loose and the seal is broken. Not a total deal breaker as I don't make many expressions when running but it's just something to note. I think the biggest annoyance for me is that the buttons aren't very responsive. Just trying to turn the volume up takes ages and sometimes doesn't actually register. Same when it comes to skipping tracks forward or backwards. The right earbud did stop working after 5 mintues use and had to put it it back in the case and out again for it to working again. Hopefully that was just a random glitch and it won't happen again. If you can live with those things then I do think these are an okay pair of earbuds. I have just recieved them, so will see how I feel about them in a couple of months.

Great quality for this price point. No fuss, very comfortable, sound amzing.
Had a bit of a terrible time trying to find some bluetooth headphones for running. I liked the fit and sound of the skull candy push actives but I went through three pairs that all developed the same technical issue before giving up on them. Had a pair of JLab Epic Air Sport ANC Gen 3 that just weren't up to scratch in terms of fit, connectivity, sound quality and were fussy to configure, which I ended up returning. THESE soundcore are, so far, really great. They fit so snuggly, especially when exercising, and they sound amazing. There is an app where you can configure them but I've not needed to at all. They're just plug-n-play. Connectivity so far has been very strong with no drop out or interference. Its only been a couple of weeks but so far they've surpassed my expectation and for the price their durability and quality is really good. If you want loads of tap functionality (glad these don't have any, got so sick of accidentally skipping tracks/turning my music off when just brushing previous headphones), they're probably not for you, but if you want comfort, ease and quality, especially when exercising, then these are some of the best headphones at this price point.
