I bought this protector ahead of a week's travel abroad on a business trip. It replaced a standard gel case that I decided wouldn't be enough for the risks of travel where the chances of dropping the phone were a lot higher than normal.Good decision! I didn't drop the phone while away but the peace of mind factor was very high indeed that, if I had, I believe the phone would have been safely protected, far more so than if I had continued with the standard case.As others have remarked in reviews, it fits the S8 snugly and perfectly. I have no doubt it would do its job well if I do drop the phone. The screen protector is good and does not interfere at all with the touch screen of the phone - tapping and swiping on the screen works as if you were touching the screen directly. It does get smudged a lot with fingerprints but that's easily cleaned with a microfibre cloth and cleansing spray for glasses.Removing it from the phone is a bit tricky (there's a slight gap in the bottom-right corner where you gently insert a slim screwdriver to help remove it) but that's the point really - a close fit for complete protection.A good product, worth the money.

Tried a few cases for my S8 and mostly without screen protector which in todays world of super expensive easy to smash phones isn't good enough. I had an S7 Edge before with the same case as this but it had a thin plastic strip that ran across the notification bar and it snapped ever so easily. They've clearly given this case a lot more thought and the results are exceptional because it does everything you'd want it to do by protecting your phone brilliantly, the case fits so snug around the device and the plastic screen protector doesn't limit the interaction with the screen whatsoever, that maybe the one downside and that's the screen protector isn't proper tempered glass but I can live with that. I bought an otterbox defender for my S7 Edge and disappointed wasn't the word, the rubber stretches within days and becomes baggy and worthless and for the price of the otterbox defender makes it even more laughable that this case is half the price and the materials are 100% better. So do yourself a favour if your looking for a decent case for your S8 then look no further.

This is my 5th supcase now, not because I have to get replacements, but because they are just great sturdy cases for my phones. I've had one on my Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 2 XL, Samsung S7 & S8. Apart from getting confused as to which phone is which, they are just great cases.I personally cannot stand flimsy screen protectors so prefer a case with a screen protector built in. This is the selling point of the Supcase for me as they're great in that regard and very hard wearing. I've had both my Pixel cases for a few years now and they're very resilient. I even slipped down an embankment with my phone in my back pocket and the phone came through that without a scratch. Always leaves your phone in pristine condition should you look to sell it on.Always worth the money, so just buy one!

This is a solid case and come well pack in its box making you feel you bought something of quality. I would say cleaning your screen before you cover it is good idea. The case is very easy to fit and feel good in the hand. But note it does make your phone weight a little more and increase the size of the phone by around 10-15%. But you do feel if you drop it, it would survive much better than the other cheaper stuff . I would buy this again, but not 5 stars as it could have been make a little less weighty it would have been 5 stars. But you cannot go wrong for the price and protection it give you ! phone.

UpdateI've now had this case for best part of a year. My phone is still in perfect condition, despite me being entirely unreliable and untrustworthy with high value items. I've dropped it many .....many times. Its landed on its end, its landed face down. Zero damage.Screen sensitivity is still absolutely perfect.Yes. I look like a builder. But I don't care 😂I've had this for 3 months now, and can honestly say it's the best phone case I've ever had.I've dropped my phone so many times (hence needing this case!) and it has ZERO damage. This is the only case that's ever properly protected my phone.On top of this, the screen sensitivity is perfect. It's like the case isn't even on.The belt clip part is easily removableCan't see that anyone would regret buying this

Adding this comment after one year! Still love it. I have dropped the phone whilst riding my bike in London. Phone is fine. I have dropped it a couple of times as well! all good, post 1 year usage.Two days in using the case, so quite a short experience. I love it so far, fits the S8 very well and makes the phone much more easy to hold in your hand. The plastic screen might get some finger prints and marks, will try to keep it clean with a soft cloth for glasses. I like the clip for the belt as well, it is a bit 90s but useful if you don't have many pockets and keeps the screen from being scratched by keys, coins..etc... At this stage, I would recommend whole heartedly!

The case part is good, but the screen protector broke after a few months of use. The plastic frame the screen protector sits it snapped at two corners. I have been unable to find a replacement screen cover, as this seems to be a regular issue might the seller think of selling compatible screen protectors separately?

I have a history of being pretty clumsy with regards to phones so I wanted a robust case and this certainly fits the bill. The front and back cover that wraps around the phone covers it very well and it offers good grip and protection and is not bulky.It is the outer section of the case that clips onto the front that is the real winner for me. Whilst it is fairly bulky I have no doubt that it will offer very robust protection. I have only dropped it once (onto tarmac) in the week I have had the case and it provided total protection. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I recently bought this case for a second time after my first case served a long tour of duty (2 years) and I must say for the money this case is definitely worth it. As other reviews have stated my case also eventually cracked which lead to the rear glass on my s8 to crack, however it doesnt bother me too much because I keep the case on and the case did protect the most important part of the phone (the display) and at the price point the amount of protection and durability is insane. After two years of ownership the case has shown wear and tear. The charger slot cover wears out over time and won't close after a while, the adhesive holding the plastic cover for the screen gets weak but the way the case goes on it doesnt hinder functionality and will re-adhere eventually. The plastic screen shows signs of heavy scratching but that is to be expected after two years. My phone screen remained scrtachless. There is an issue of "fuzziness" spots when the case is brand new but after a little breaking in it'll go away. The camera lens is exposed but the case keeps it recessed which protects it from damage however it does seem to get dirty easily. All and all I would pick this case over an overpriced lifeproof which lasted me a little over 3 months before it was in poor condition. It is sleek like an otterbox box commuter series but provides far superior protection.

I've bought this case for both me and my girlfriend's father who works in the trade industry. His phone takes quite the beating day to day, and this case has held up and ensured no scratches or cracked screens. It has even survived a fall down the stairs in their house. We've both had the cases for about a year now and they are still holding up quite well!For my use, I bought this case because of the screen protection. The S8's bezel has made it difficult to apply other screen protectors well, and this was the simplest solution to the problem - integrate the screen protection into the case. There is a minor 'grid pattern' in terms of the screen's clarity when using this screen protection, but the touch responsiveness is great and you're still able to take advantage of the bezel. It works with wireless charging, and if you primarily use wireless charging - the covers for the USBC and 3.5mm headphone jack help to keep out lint/dust from the ports. The best thing about this product other than the high quality - is the value. Compared to cases from the bigger companies - this one is half the price and offers better protection. I recommend the Supcase brand to anyone in the market for phone cases, and although I haven't used it... it seems their customer service goes above and beyond to correct issues that people have with their cases.Highly recommend this case!
