Original Magic Remote Control LG MR24GA with Voice and Pointer for 2023 TVs and 2024 LG TVs

Works fine for my 2024 set.Purchased this after getting another that turned out not to work with the set and listed differently in two places of the descriotion and not supported for 2024 sets.

It works great with our LG - 55 inch Class UT70 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2024). It took a few tries to get it to pair... finally worked when trying to pair after the TV was on for a few minutes NOT just after turning the TV on. Not an issue with the pairing -- just sharing the best way we found to get it working for us!

Original remote got wet and stopped working. This one is identical and works perfect

We bought this after we got our new TV and realized that the Alexa function only works with this special Magic Remote. Unfortunately the remote buttons are finicky but the voice control works well. Since we have the original TV remote, that isn’t a big issue but it is frustrating that we need two devices for one TV. Price seems a bit high considering it’s really only needed for one function.

After buying the wrong remote for my LG UT7000 tv, I’m really happy this one works like a champ. Well worth the money. Make sure the model number matches the year of your tv when you purchase. This remote does so much more than the standard remote. Changes the value of the tv completely. Highly recommendMake sure you follow the instructions even if the remote seems to work right out if the box. The remote must be joined to the tv properly.

I ordered this MR24GA magic remote for our new 43” LG UT75 series tv. That tv comes with just a standard remote. I’ve bought a previous LG tv that came with a magic remote, and it’s so much nicer to use than the standard one. It’s well worth the cost. There are several magic remotes on Amazon. I chose this one because it has the “LG” brand on the front and the CE mark and LG model info on the back of it. I was afraid to get one of the unmarked, cheaper ones. I put in 2 AA batteries (not included) and followed the simple instructions that came with the remote. As you can see in the photos, it only took 2 easy steps to pair it with my tv. It worked flawlessly! Just make sure you order the model that goes with your tv. Thank you for making a great product that works!

Product description says "original" but apparently the one I received is anything but that. TV slow to respond to controller inputs. You have to press the buttons two or more times and hope it takes you to what you want to watch. Fresh batteries are no help. Original remote works fine with quick response so I know it's not the TV. Bought this for the larger buttons but now hoping I get a refund.

Works perfectly with my 2024 lg tv.. I've bought others in the past that wouldn't work, it wouldn't connect.. but this one does.. super thumbs up.. thank you
