They work but less leverage required.
Used klein snips for ages. Good long sturdy handles. Angled head makes snipping easier. I use these for split pins on hgv ball joints. Easy to pull out or easy to snip heads off. Also klein offer free resharpening service depending on where you buy them. Klein are top snipe. Spend a little more and get a tool that will last for years.

They cut wire they cut nails they will even cut sheet metal. I abuse the hell out of the ones I own and about the only thing they won’t cut very well is a live wire. I had my first pair 2 years my second a year and these feel just as good.

Love these pliers. These were a replacement for a pair that were lost/acquired by a coworker. I have always been a craftsman lover but since I've started using these I'll never switch back. These are well balanced in the hand and I have yet to run into an issue with any Klein product getting sticky or being tough to open. With the lifetime warranty too I feel like I shouldn't need to buy another one....unless the grow legs like my last pair.
