I used this on my 3 point to rip a trench to install some conduit . Works well.

We live in an area that has sandy soil. This cuts right through the roots of small trees and tufts of grass/shrubs without issue. Really pleased with it and it comes with a replacement ripping tine! We hit a big root that would have caused the implement to bend but the shear bolt did its job and sheared and saved the implement. Well engineered. FYI, keep in mind that when any implement states 16" deep or such, that how far the implement drops and not the actual depth of cut. Depending on how low your tractor 3 point will drop dictates how deep you're going to be able to go with this. We have a larger tractor so we get a shallower trench due to the 3 point being higher off the ground. I would buy this product again, works really well.

I purchased this to dig a 100" trench for conduit and electric wire with my Mule and an implement lift. It took me a couple months to getting around to putting it all together, but when I did, I saw that it was made very well and assembly was a breeze. I finally got around to using it yesterday and my impression is that this thing is awesome! I live in North Alabama and we grow HUGE rocks. After making a couple passes, I hit a monster rock. Around 300 lbs., 3 feet long, 3 feet wide, and 4 inches thick, and sitting about 10 inches below the ground. When I hit it, I was positive the ripper would have broken. NOPE! I raised it up and it's still strong as ever! This has destroyed any large or small roots that gets in it's path, many of them being thrown out of the trench. I had to make some small mods to my implement lift to use it, but nothing major. Overall, I am beyond impress with this trencher and already envision many more projects.
