This is a pack of three 2 oz packets of Cajun Drip Chili Crush butter seasoning mix from Louisiana Fish Fry Products. They arrived fresh and factory sealed. These packets each will season a LOT of melted butter to flavor a LOT of fish boil...5 to 7 pounds worth of fish boil, in fact. This seasoning does make a fantastic flavored butter for seafood. It's not just spicy seasoning, it also has the lemon built right in, so it also has the tart factor. But say you're not having 5 to 7 pounds of seafood. You can mix some of this dry seasoning into softened butter to make a solid rather than melted flavored butter. You can sprinkle this seasoning on your seafood and saute it, or air fry it, or batter and deep fry it. This seasoning is also good on vegetables including corn on the cob and potatoes. It should be noted that this seasoning does not contain salt, which is another reason I love it. I prefer to salt my food separate from other seasonings, so I can get the levels of both exactly where I want them. This is a really good seasoning that can be used for a wide variety of things.

I honestly didn't follow the instructions on the package of this Louisiana seasoning after checking the ingredients list. It can easily be used as a regular seasoning in any food. I use it to season anything( chicken, tofu) before grilling and it worked out well.

The first thing I’m gonna say is, I didn’t realize that this mix was for 5 to 7 pounds of seafood, which is way more seafood than I would be making for just my family. I decided to measure it out and use half the package with 1 stick of butter and 1/4 cup of stock. I followed the instructions and whisk half the pack of seasoning with the butter and the broth. I tossed my shrimp in the butter sauce until it is well coated, and drizzled the rest over some fillets. I was really thrilled with how quick and easy this was to use.I was a little surprised that this was a Cajun drip chili crush, butter seasoning mix. I actually had to go and read the package to make sure that I read it correctly. I didn’t feel the spice lived up to a Cajun spice. I am very familiar with Cajun food and I find it to Have more heat. Typically Cajun food is full of flavor, but has that heat that you can’t deny. I found this Cajun seasoning to be mild. Kind of like a mass marketing, kind of heat and not a true Cajun heat.I wind up adding my own Cajun seasoning to the mix and it was a whole lot better. I will be adding my own seasoning when I use this again.All in all, as long as you adjust the seasonings to your taste, it is a pretty good base

This stuff is a game changer! I was getting tired of the same old shrimp recipes, but this mix really adds a ton of flavor. It's super easy to use. I love that it's not too spicy but still has a nice kick to it. Honestly, I'm never going back to plain old shrimp again! If you're looking for a way to spice up your next seafood meal, you've got to try this out! You won't be disappointed.

I did not like the flavor

Glad I looked at the instructions closely, because each of these packets is for an enormous amount of seafood! Since I was just doing fish for our family of 4, I halved everything and saved half the packet for another time. Easy to mix, then just toss your cooked seafood in it and serve. I really enjoyed it, but my husband wished it had more of a kick. It's very mild for a Cajun chili flavor- I definitely expected it to be spicier. The kids and I still enjoyed it, but if you're looking for heat it misses the mark.

I haven’t tried the product since it was delivered open. Really unfortunate, since I had high hopes that the flavors would be great.

I found this to be really tasty, but used it differently than what the instructions call for.I've found that many boils end up with kind of a weak taste after adding to the water, so I mixed this into butter and poured it over the crab, shrimp, corn and potatoes after they came out of the water. The result was a deep, spicy flavor that we all loved.
