This works very well on my dog. I break it up and put it in with her food because she does not seem to like the taste of them. When I give it to her she seems to shed way less.

I have been a loyal user of Synovi G4 for years, dating back to when it was a Bayer/Elanco product. Unfortunately, since the brand was acquired by Pet Protect, the value and quality have plummeted. If you are a long-time user, look closely at your new bags—this is shrinkflation at its peak. The Product "Shrink": The chews are now roughly half the size they used to be. While the bag still claims a "240 count," the actual volume of the supplement has been slashed. Despite the individual chews being smaller, the price for a 240-count package has actually increased. You are essentially paying more for 50% less product. It is a deceptive move that assumes customers won't notice the physical change in the chew itself. Packaging & Quality Issues: The transition from the sturdy plastic tubs to the new foil-like pouch is a major step backward. The new packaging offers zero protection; my recent order arrived with a significant portion of the chews smashed and crumbled into a messy powder at the bottom of the bag. Not only are the chews smaller, but they are also more fragile, and the current packaging isn't up to the task of shipping them safely. This is not an amazon shipping issue, but just poor packaging. Final Verdict: It’s disappointing to see a trusted veterinary-grade formula compromised by cost-cutting measures. I can no longer justify the "premium" price for a product that has downgraded its quality and doubled its effective cost. I am moving my dogs (an 8-year-old Border Collie and 10-year-old Aussie mix) over to VetriScience GlycoFlex 3. It offers a much higher concentration of active ingredients (like Perna canaliculus) for a far better price point. For those who miss the muscle-support aspect of the old Synovi, I recommend switching to a better joint brand and adding a pure, separate creatine supplement—you’ll save a fortune and your dogs will likely get better results.

This is a great product for my pet. We have an Sr. Silky terrier he was in a lot of pain when trying to get up. We started these in May. They took effect immediately. I take a pill, cut it in 4 portions and give him 1 portion each day. Not sure how well he would take if I didn’t put it in cream cheese. There isn’t much smell. He has had no diarrhea or any other side effects. I purchased the first package from the vet. They were less expensive from Amazon. I like the flat size because the are easy to cute into 4 smaller portions

I have been using these for about 4 years per my vet for my Frenchies hips and joints. They love them and they seem to be working. I didn’t like it when they changed the packaging because the soft chews were much smaller, but my vet said it still had the same ingredients. I’m now up to 4 Frenchies ( all rescues ) so I will switch to auto ship.

Unfortunately when they rebranded the company also changed the size and amount you have to give to your pet. When I opened the bag a number of.the smaller pieces were broken so now you aren't getting the correct dosage. Arrival with Amazon was fine so no issues there just an issue with the manufacturer and the changes they did after the rebrand/company change.

Helps with my dogs knee joints, he’s been taking these for about seven years and his knees haven’t popped out of place like they did before the supplement
