Reaction Figures SDCC 2014 Exclusive The Goonies Sloth in Superman Shirt Variant 3 3/4 Inch Comic-Con

When I was a little kid, I collected Star Wars figures, and when action figures first started to change, get larger and more detailed, I really didn't originally like it. I wanted all figures to be like my Star Wars figures, and I definitely wanted a set of Goonies action figures! Funko has answered both those childhood dreams for me with their line of Reaction figures, which take a wide variety of popular subjects, especially those great films of the 80's, and turns them into toys designed to mimic the look of those original 1970's and 80's Kenner figures, most notably the Star Wars line, from the mere 5 points of articulation right down to the retro packaging! Though, in my case, no way can I leave them in the packages! I have so far only picked up the Goonies set (they won't be my last Reaction figures though), and I couldn't be happier! They are amazing! And, despite what some have said, even with their extremely simple designs, I can see likenesses to each of the characters in these figures, and moreso in the Goonies set than any other human characters I've seen from the Reaction line. Chunk looks like Chunk, Mouth looks like Mouth, etc... And, after I bought all four kids, well, I had to get Sloth, but I didn't want the regular Sloth, I wanted the proper, Superman T-shirt Sloth, so I had to get that SDCC exclusive!The SDCC exclusive Sloth figure is exactly the same as the regular Sloth figure except for one very important feature. He wears a Superman T-Shirt. It's very important for accuracy though. Really glad I held out for this figure! And it's a great figure too. But, even though I love this fig, I can still do some nit-picking about two things at least. Make that three, enough to lose a star for the overall rating. One, he is just too small. At only a head taller than the kid figures, well, it just ain't right. Sloth should tower over them. He's a giant of a man. He is bigger, thank god, but he should be two heads bigger at the very least. Secondly, his only accessory (they usually only have one) is a pirate hat, as seen in the movie, but this hat should also fit Chunk's head. it does not. That kinda sucks. Not as big a problem as the height, but neither of these flaws should exist at all. Finally, in a flaw exclusive to the SDCC figure, his Superman logo is a bit elongated vertically. It's enough to where it is slightly annoying. This should have been easy to avoid. Yes, his chest should be a bit broader anyway, but even if you don't wanna do that, you didn't have to stretch the symbol. It would have looked fine. It would have looked better. It's not so much that it's unrecognizable, but it is noticeable. Overall though, I still love this figure, and I love this who set from this awesome line! Definitely must haves for Goonies and Reaction figure fans!

When this came in the packaging had a hole in the side of the plastic the hat was loose in the packagin . It was unsealed at the top and bottom. When I asked them to replace the damaged item they wouldn't only a refund was offered that is bad for business. I have all the gooines reaction figure so this was a must have if I only knew it was going to be in this shape. I don't feel this right and it shows that they have more in Stock. Why not just replace it?
