I got this for my son for Christmas and it was the perfect choice. We were about to set it up quick and it had a pretty good spin to it. Love it!!!

Perfect beginner set for a teen! My daughter is 11 and was easily able to set this up and work it. The mini size , along with the speeds are easily adjustable and compliment her smaller hands-the wheel rotates smoothly and the pedal is easy to use when needing to slow and stop the wheel. The tools are not much more than a dollar store quality - but work just fine for a beginner - if my daughter continues to keep the interest - a better quality set will likely be needed as these ones may not hold up too long. The starter clay it came with was easy to work with as well, still moiste and there was a good amount in each pack to practice some small trinket bowls.

Gave as a gift and it was perfect!! It was easy to use and clean! Kids had so much fun making beautiful creations!!

Bought for 9 y.o. as Christmas gift. He wasn't really interested in it so I returned. It looked reasonably good quality with a lot of extras included. Never turned it on though. Sorry.

The motor isn't strong enough to turn most clays you might be able to use it with Play-Doh though half of the clay that came with it was hard because there was holes in the plastic packaging that was supposed to keep the air out of it for an air-dried clay The paints that came with it were all dried and leaking into the packaging that they were in overall I was not happy with the results of the potter's wheel kit

Works good for the price.

This was a 13th birthday gift for my daughter, and she absolutely loves it. It seems pretty well built for the price!
