Beautiful but does not hold thick hair

I use them to hold my hair up when I shower. I have dropped it multiple times and not one chip. I’ve had other hair clips that breaks on the spring part which renders it useless right away. This was a good buy. Also it is lightweight and doesn’t put strain on your hair.

I have long, thick hair that reaches about my ribs. I've broken countless claw clips. This is the only clip that will hold my hair and feel sturdy.

I'm Caucasian with fine hair, but a lot of it. These clips are perfect for me (I've struggled with other clips not holding all of my hair) but I imagine that they might be a little small for ladies with thicker hair/more texture and curls. Sturdy construction, and I love the matte finish of them. 5 stars for me personally.

My hair is thick, heavy and mid way down my back. Needless to say I have struggled to find a hair clip that can hold all of my hair up at once without struggling for its life. Most barely make it across my hair and won't clasp on the other side. I looked at various types on Amazon that were larger. The biggest I found was 5 inch, like these. I chose to try this brand because they were a bit cuter than the big chunky ones. I was worried when the box arrived, because it was fairly small for 2 large clips. My first instinct was no way that will hold my hair but I gave it a go. I was shocked to find it did clamp my hair in place and it isn't heavy like some other clips. As well the claws didn't dig into my scalp. I thought it was fairly cute as well, enough I can wear it out. Now, despite it holding my hair now, I did not have any wiggle room for much more hair. If I grow my hair out much more, I'm afraid it won't hold anymore. For most people, this won't be an issue as either they will have short hair than me and/or not as thick. Recommend these for those who want a cuter clip for those thicker locks. Price is great as well.

It’s difficult to find clips that will hold my daughter’s long (below shoulders but no where near middle of the back) SUPER thick hair - this one is the first she is able to fit over ALL of her hair and it holds in place without slipping or falling out. Typical clips don’t open wide enough to go around all of her hair and they do not stay in. This one is perfect! May be over kill for thin hair but works on thick hair fabulously. For reference to help you judge if it would work for you: my daughter’s hair is thick enough it takes 6 hours to do highlights. If you have super thick hair this one’s for you!
