I have this placed in the area where I make my tea, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.It is a nice big mat that covers a big surface area any spills on the mat I simply wipe up with a wet rag, this beats having dirty trays or countertops, I havent tested the absorbency but wet spills wipe up easily and it dries very well.Would reccomend.

I have got a coffee machine which pours the excess water into a tray under the unit. A couple of times, this tray has overflowed and causes the table to get wet and make a mess. This mat has solved it!The mat comes rolled up and when unrolled needs a little time to go flat. The grey is a deep charcoal grey. It looks sleek. The surface finish isn't entirely flat, it almost looks like a leathery sort of finish. More subtle though. The print on it is quite sharp and a nice feature.The mat is super absorbent and has been perfect! It has already had water spilled on it and I have had no issues.The added benefit of this has been that my coffee machine sounds quieter because it's no longer rattling through to the table. This has been a nice extra!Overall, if you want to make your coffee station look smarter and be easier to maintain, get one of these!
