James Clavell Asian Saga Collection 2 Books Set (Tai-Pan & Gai-Jin)

This item arrived on time. I havent started reading them. There was no damage. all good.

After ordering and reading Shogun from Amazon we ordered these follow on novels. The stories are great but puzzled by source of books. Whereas Shogun paperbacks were nice print size and good paper quality, a much different story with these. We should have been tipped off by the very long delivery date at ordering- more than 3 weeks. When we checked status we found they were in process of going through customs! Turns out books were coming from UK! Puzzled that Amazon couldn’t find copies for sale in US. Books are new but no where near the quality and print size of the more recent Shogun paperbacks.
