18 Month Review - Still very happy with the product. Despite all of my abuse (dropping it, banging it into tree limbs, etc.) it's still working fine with my IPOD. Occasionally use the FM radio but my original review of it's limited range still stands. Battery life is excellent, getting 4+ hours of use from a single set of rechargeable batteries. I've used the headset around a 100 times (dropping it at least twice) and in general treating it rough like I unfortunately do to all of my equipment. Still going strong, highly recommend it based upon my original review comments.Initial Review: First - this is an unsolicited review, I don't do "requested" reviews and only review products that I have purchased for my own use. I was looking for a "lower" cost noise cancelling ear protection headset and didn't want to spend a lot of money for it seeing as how I can be hard on my equipment. My primary use is for outside with mowing and leaf blowing activities in the summer/fall and snow blowing in the winter. I've had this product for 3 weeks and have used it 6 times. What I like about this product:1.) reasonable cost, 2.) comfortable/light weight feel, 3.) very good noise cancelling capability, 4.) excellent audio reproduction, 5.) simple, easy to understand/use controls, 6.) good battery life (4+ hours on a set of double A rechargeable batteries and probably longer - I changed them at that point), 7.) clear, easy to understand instructions, 8.) AUX port for my IPOD.What's not good:FM radio reception range. I'm only able to pick up radio stations within about 10-15 miles (central NJ near the shore). Not sure if this is typical for this product or similar products in that this is the first one I've owned. Fortunately, there are a couple of decent FM Stations nearby that I can pick up, but it would have been nice to have had a greater range. Not sure of the AM radio reception range, I don't listen to AM.Conclusion: I'd buy the product again. My intention was to listen to my IPOD anyway, so the diminished FM range is not really an issue for me. If you're looking for the radio as your primary music/news source, then this may not fit well particularly if you're in a rural area.My rating of 4 stars is based on the pluses listed with the minus involving the FM range. The product "feels" solid and well made. I'm guessing that it will hold up well to my use, which as mentioned earlier, can be quite rough.I'll update this review in about 6 months after my winter use with a snow blower.

I operate loud machinery. This headset reduces the noise and at the same time allows me to hear the radio. Easy to use, is comfortable, and the sound quality is good. I love this headset.

Got this for my dad for Father’s Day. He uses it when he is mowing the lawn and loves it. He says it has good noise cancellation and can get all of the local radio stations.

Really cuts out the riding lawn mower noise, and the radio works great!!

Bought these for my husband while he mows lawn( not his favorite thing to do) and he loves them. We live way back in the woods and he gets great reception. The headphones them self fit his head and comfortable on his ears. He mows about 5 acres and he wears them the whole time.

Great for doing yard work. When cutting grass it blocks alot of the riding mower sound without the volume being too loud. Does use batteries, not Bluetooth. Weight is a bit heavey. Fit is a bit tight when you first wear it. It seems that is getting better each time it is worn. Bright yellow color (so I could find it if laid down). Would buy again

I can buy something almost identical to this at the local hardware store, however they don't come in grey. Also, they are the "newer" version that does not have the led screen, but instead has a tuning know with a voice that tells you what channel you are on. This is perhaps handy in noisy environments where taking off the headphones to see the channel would be ill advised. I prefer the older model. With the screen you can easily look at what frequency you are on. With the newer model it's way more trouble. You have to move the knob to another frequency and back again to hear where you are. (?) Also, the older model has the volume knob mounted in a better spot. Not a round volume knob that is mounted where you can accidentally move it with your shoulder as you move your head around. Probably not a problem if you are not wearing a heavy jacket. The older model has it recessed in the center. I will take the older model any day. Features are the same. Lastly, they had great customer service. I had some questions and used the contact email and got replied within a day and positive outcomes to my questions. As far as the other ratings go, no doubt at this price sound quality is fine as is the value. I think it's actually a few bucks cheaper at the hardware store but again, no grey. As far as noise cancelling goes, it's pretty good. I wear them when using my mower as well as in an aircraft. Use the aux. input for your phone or movie. Way better. Dampens the aircraft noise as well as screaming kids. If you read up on sound pressure and various devices, you will find that noise suppression is very dependent upon the fit of all devices and that the rating is a lab rating.I now have three of these. For the price, I don't want to be without. Just recently I travelled without and never again, They actually don't take as much room as it looks like. This model comes with a super heavy duty carry bag. I won't be using it because it takes up more space that way and would prevent you from using the space between the ear muffs for packing stuff. For my oldest pair I had to repair the swivel connection between the headband and the ear muff. (epoxy) I think it is made a bit more robust now. Would buy this product from them again.

MY HUSBAND HARDLY EVER USES ANYTHING I TRY TO BUY FOR HIM, BUT THIS IS SUPER, AS HE USES IT ALL THE TIME WHILE USING HIS CHAINSAW.

Comfortable fit. Sound is great. Husband wears it when doing yard work.

The product function AM/FM radio worked fine,the only problem is the very tight fit which can be a little painfull, and uncomfortable after a short while.I have sought info on the internet and found others who share the same problem,they advise stretching the earphones for 2/3 days using the box it came in ,I wait to see if it works as they cannot be worn for longer than 10 minutes at the moment.
