Worked like a charm for my 2020 Jeep gladiator made install very easy and fool proof !!

I bought this adapter from my 2014 Dodge Durango RT, insulation was pretty straightforward and easy, just follow the instructions.I found it easier to remove the entire rearview mirror to install the adapter, but that was easy since it was a matter of just twisting to the right to remove And then twisting to the left to install.It works great with no cables dangling or having to remove the headliner.I did email the company first to ensure I was getting the right adapter for my vehicle

Installed in a 2024 Grand Cherokee L Linited. The kit comes with everything you need to install the power adapter. The larger (orange) pry tool is to help remove the housing and the smaller (blue) pry tool is to push in the locking mechanism in the OEM connector to disengage and disconnect it. I routed the adapter and wiring towards the bottom of the housing since there's a large gap at the bottom for the USB cable. You can also route it towards the mirror where there's a gap, but there would be too much of the USB cable showing, which kind of defeats the purpose of using this kit. Also that route significantly reduces the slack of the USB cable.The only issue I have about the kit is that they did not include some high temperature resistant tape to help insulate the wires. The location of the mirror housing is usually covered by black film on the windshield to hide the wires, so the inside of the housing captures a ton of heat. If you notice, all the OEM wires are insulated. It's not a big deal - I'll pick up a roll and insulate the wires.

Would have given 4 stars because pic is misleading. It shows two USB ports and package only came with one. There was an additional power aux cord but it was not USB based.

Super simple to add.. I have a 2020 Grand cherokee and I was able to add it in 5 minutes.. Great product
