They are made with spruce wood and painted a color of your choice. It is finished with an elegant country style handle and hinges. We currently offer Colonial White, Empire Red, Stone Gray, Acapulco Waves, and Blue Cloud for our colors. If you don't see a color that matches your kitchen let us know we can do a custom one for you! Our bread box can hold up to 4 full size loaves of bread in the top compartment. The bottom compartment is great for onions or potatoes. It can also be used to stash away electronics, power cords, or your stash of treats and snacks. ** Note: We do not typically paint the interior of the box as this is the area where food is stored.
