Wolverine Men's Legend 6 Inch Waterproof Comp Toe Work Shoe

A great looking light weight work boot. I was looking for a pair of black work boots for both work and riding the motorcycle and these are even better looking than I had envisioned. I’m used to wearing steel toe boots every single day so I really appreciate the composite toe. Still have protected toes with less weight. Problem though where the sole meets the leather there is stress marks maybe even hair line tears. I noticed this after a single day of wearing them and not doing anything that would have sliced leather... saddening but I’m not sending them back after all the back and forth I have done trying to find a set of work boots that feel good to my feet... shout out to Amazon for letting me return four different pair of boots until I found these.Update*I applied some Hubbard’s Shoe Grease shortly after recieving these boots... great stuff check it out if you’re hard on boots. A month after getting them we kept having downpours where I am working. Water up over the laces sloshing about and my feet were dry when I got into the truck. I love these boots.

These were my first pair of wolverines, I've typically been wearing Red wings and get about 2 to 3 years out them. I decided to try something new after a recommendation from a coworker. Initially these were great, really comfortable, I really liked the look of them. However, I'm just about to hit the year mark with them and they're already separating at the sole and no longer water proof which was one of the main reasons I got them. I'm pretty disappointed, I was initially really excited about these boots but I think at this price point, separation this early is unreasonable. I'm kind of starting to get the feeling this isn't limited to Wolverine, but more so boot manufacturers in general cutting costs, out sourcing, and using poor quality materials. I'm disappointed to start boot shopping again so early, I guess this is just the way things work these days. Save your money, look else wear.

I normally wear a 9.5 or a 10 D, depending on the manufacturer. I have never bought wide shoes. Based on other reviews, I ordered smaller size and wider width, so ordered 9.5 XW, I think I should have gone with the 3E width. I have been wearing them for a month now, and they are still uncomfortable. This is the most trouble I have ever had with a pair of boots. I wore them around the house for a couple of days, and thought they would get better after a while, but I am sadly disappointed. They squeak when I walk, but that may be because I am wearing them so loosely so they are a little more bearable. I would return them if I could. I have given them a low rating based on comfort as quality, construction and so on don’t mean anything if they hurt your feet. I walk 5+ miles a day at work, so comfort is imperative.After 2 months, these boots still hurt my feet. I have changed my rating to 1 star because of this. These boots have been a waste of money, as I can no longer wear them. I will never buy another pair of Wolverine boots!!!Update - Wolverine customer service saved the day. They allowed me to replace the boots with a different model, and these were a much better fit. Depending on how these boots hold up, I will likely give Wolverines another shot on the next pair, based on their customer support. As for the Legends...still not impressed...

Great comfortable boot straight out of box , i wear a 10.5 in boots and my last 2 Wolverine boots fit perfectAs i was reading the review i noticed people saying these were a bit larger so i ordered a 10 D and it was a perfect fit the 10 D fits more like a 10.5 D ,i am veey glad i ordered a half size down .very good looking boot nice toe cover to keep scraps downI stand on concrete for about 10 hours a day ,I think these will do the trick they feel like tennis shoes when i put them on and very ligh

I normally don't bother writing such a detailed review, but these boots made me have to make an exception. I went ahead and took the risk of ordering them online even though I usually would prefer being able to try it on to see if it fits and how it feels on my foot as i walk around in it, but Amazon has been so convenient for everything else i figured i'd just really read all the reviews and see how people thought the boot fit if it was too large/small etc.The problem I've always had is that my feet are a 13 and a half, and no one sells those anywhere so 13 is almost always juuuuust too small and 14 makes me look like a clown with bananna shoes.I saw enough reviews saying these ran a tad large so I went ahead and crossed my fingers and ordered.When i got these boots two days later, I got ready for disapointment and slid my foot in. Man when I slid my foot into these boots it felt like the first time i slid my you know what into a you know where. I mean I have never felt a more blissfully comfortable, perfect fitting boot in my entire life. I mean these boots just caress my whole foot from front to back, and my toes can wiggle and barely touch the shell toe tips, and man, my feet feel sweet.Took three days to break in and I was nervous by day two but by day four and onward I just love slipping these on. They are like armored foot gloves and half as heavy as my usual steel toe choice. Im going to buy a second pair since with my luck they wont have another pair of these next year or whenever these end up wearing out.

Well built boots, very pleased.

I wear size 13 EEE Dakota workboots, which fit very well but are quite heavy. I ordered this size 13XW Wolverine boot, at a 40% higher price, and it is far too narrow in the front, especially the toe cap. It is, for me, unwearable because of that. If you have large/wide feet, I would stay away from these.I will say that they are noticeably lighter than the comparable Dakota, if you have small(er) feet.
