This bonsai kit is absolutely wonderful, especially for beginners like me. Everything comes very well organized and easy to use, with clear instructions that make the whole process feel fun and not intimidating at all. You can tell it was designed with beginners in mind. One of the things I loved most is the variety of seeds included. Having Jacarandá in the kit is a huge highlight. It’s such a beautiful tree and not easy to find in bonsai kits, so that alone makes this set extra special. The sprouting is truly guaranteed. My seeds started sprouting just as promised, which was incredibly satisfying to see. The tools, planters, and growing supplies are great quality and perfect for learning the basics of bonsai care indoors. This kit also makes a fantastic gift, especially for anyone who loves plants, gardening, or relaxing hobbies. It’s thoughtful, calming, and rewarding from the very beginning. Loved this kit! It comes with everything you need to start growing bonsai at home, with clear instructions and good-quality materials. The seeds sprouted nicely and the planters look great. A perfect gift for anyone who enjoys plants.

So far I’ve only been able to get the jacaranda and the pigeon pea seeds to sprout, but the kit itself is nice. They also sent a few extra seeds in the event that the ones for each tree type don’t sprout. I haven’t opened up the extra seeds packet just yet. I hope to get at least 1 tree going of each kind. As of now, i have two jacaranda and two pigeon peas going strong. The instruction booklet is easy to follow. I have, personally, taken the plastic lining out of the burlap seed sacks, though. My last kit experience was that the soil didn’t breathe well because of the inner plastic lining and, as a result, developed mold. This time, after removing the plastic lining and setting a small fan to blow on the exposed burlap to let air move through them, i’ve had zero mold issues. (I just water the top of the sacks with a plant mister bottle so I don’t oversaturate the soil.) The kit has a long plastic tray inside the wooden box, so you can set the plant sacks on that to keep any water from leaking on anything.

This is a cool little kit. I had 3 of 4 seeds that I planted. The jacaranda was sprouted in a hydroponic pod and transfered to a plastic pot. The other two were sprouted with the kit instructions. The were planted 71 days ago.

I had such a great time with this bonsai starter kit! Everything comes neatly packaged and well-labeled, which makes it perfect for beginners like me. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and I love how the set includes everything you need—tools, pots, soil discs, markers, even trimming shears. It’s both fun and relaxing to use, and you can tell a lot of thought went into designing this kit. Definitely a great way to start learning bonsai, and it makes a wonderful gift too!

Arrived well packed and with adequate supplies. They do give more seeds but it is not marked as to what they are. It's been about a month and haven't seen anything close to growing. I wrote what was my experience and how your product was. So if 6 varieties of seeds plus extra didn't work, then 100% is extremely poor. I followed every direction and did exactly what was required. I’m not good at growing plants but this kit made a miracle - I managed to grow little bonsais and it was super easy to do so! The instructions are super clear — even if you have zero experience, you will understand what to do. I also loved that it came with everything I needed - containers for sprouting, soil, wooden box and all the tools. Very beginner friendly and such a great way to spend quality time with kids!

Such a cool kit! It came with all the tools you need to start planting and tips for success. Within a week or so I had sprouts and I am excited to keep going. I did have a few spots of mold show up, but there were directions for dealing with that too!
