not region free
I got it during a huge sale and my kid loves it, so I'm satisfied with the purchase. However I honestly couldn't give it a 5-star because: 1) The speaker is so loud, which is supposed to be a good thing, but even only at volume 1, it's still too loud. There's not a big difference between volume 1 to 10 (max is 20). It can even be heard from behind closed doors at volume 1. So if you're watching a movie at night, use a headset or you'll probably wake your neighbor up. 2) The description did not specify, but this dvd player is not region free. It plays all kinds of region 1 dvds but not region 2 nor region 3 dvds. It's fine but compare to other models with similar price, the more region it plays the better. 3) The car strap is useless, the material of the strap cannot be tightened and based on the weight of the player, it will just loosen itself and fall. The good thing I like about it is the L/R button on the remote control, which you can use left speaker or right speaker only (this is a function for different languages on vcds).

IM TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT!? I HATE GIVING 5 STAR REVIEWS, is that even possible.
I bought this for multiple lil Tasmanian devils, they break smash, destroy, drop & crush everything…..and yet, so far this DVD PLAYER almost a month in, is still kicking hard! …..is played everyday, nonstop. BEING PRESSURE TESTED HARDCORE. Don’t waste your money on a standard DVD PLAYER, we threw out the old standard DVD player & replaced it with this puppy……plugs right into the TV , AV jack cables included with adapter even…..& the battery source is wonderful & LONG LASTING…..to just grab & go straight to car or TAKE camping. Perfect smaller size with pretty decent loud speakers, but they even included tiny wired earbuds.Loaded with tons of extras, interFace cables, earbud headphones, car lighter power supply, 110 outlet, a zippered black carry bag, not water proof….just simple nylon, no it’s not padded, but still a nice accessory.Bluetooth option for loudspeakers & sound-bars, wireless earbuds etc. is a game changer and worth the extra $$$, do it upfront now, hooks up pretty easy, just go into menu on the DVD player screen & select your Bluetooth device. I’m pretty retarded, stupid & ugly …..and still made it work like FRED-flinstone.Overall looks to be a welcome addition to more gadgets that will help make life more pleasant when the grid goes down & Armageddon finally gets here…..when Rome starts to burn , you can have movie night with your family, just don’t forget to get a solar charger to keep it juiced.

Bluetooth has background noise , screen doesn't support standard 1:33 aspect ratio & multi film disc
This is a nice player for the price. But I got this for the bluetooth capability. The connection isn't intuitive after the first connection. Meaning, once I connect the headphones, it should automatically pick up those same ones every time I turn it on just like everything else I have. You have to go through the process to connect every time there is a disconnection. Also, there is a background noise in my earphones, especially at higher volumes that basically sounds like the disc going around that doesn't happen with other devices. Also, when watching films that are in Pan & Scan/Standard/Fullscreen, the picture can't be changed from being slightly stretched even though there is supposed to be this capability, so those look off. But overall, this player seems to work well after using for a week.**Edit: After several months of using, I have discovered quite a few of my multi film/episode discs have trouble playing all titles on the discs. On rare occasion, it might play all titles, but mostly just plays about half. Also, if there are any marks, barely seeable scratches, etc, this will stop and freeze up. Two discs today stopped right in the middle of the movie. This machine is very picky.

Watching Movie Quitely
This DVD player actually works. I put in a DVD and I watch a movie in bed. It had earphones and I watched my movie.

it should be priced lower for the quality
because of the price being somewhat low, it’s okay but you can barely hear it through BT ear buds. also after awhile, the picture and the sound stop being in sync. i would have sent it back but it’s too much trouble to repackage it. I’ll use it a year and then do my research before i replace it. It is 100% thin plastic, but maybe they’re all that way. it’s so light it won’t stand up to watch, but again it was not an expensive price. it should cost $30. Stopped working after 7 months.
