I’m impressed with this yoga mat. It's extra cushiony, and the slip resistance makes it ideal, providing excellent support and comfort while helping prevent injuries. The yoga plan that comes with it is a plus! I really recommend it!

This Maika Yoga Mat is one of the best yoga mats I have ever used. It does not slip on floor which provides good stability. My hands and feet do not slip even when sweaty. I may not be as cushy as other mats I have had but, those tended to slip on the floor. This has a smooth finish which is easier to wipe down I have always had trouble cleaning my other mats. Have not checked out the yoga programs yet. The colors are pretty and no odor that I noticed. The price point is similar to other mats

Got this yoga mat so I can carry it with me when I travel and workout in the hotel room. My requirements were simple, yoga mat should be light weight, soft and comfortable to exercise on, non slip on most surfaces, portable, and look elegant. Don't want people judging my choice of yoga mat at the gym or at a hotel or even in the park.I think this yoga mat fulfills all these requirements and has worked well for in the short period I have had it. I have travelled across the country with it and found it easily portable, light weight, and most of all it is soft and easy to spread and roll back.

I had high hopes for this yoga mat, but my hopes were dashed when I used it. But let’s take a step back. The mat arrived undamaged and was wrapped in plastic around the middle. I unrolled it and was very pleased with the colors. The purple and pink are soft tones and very relaxing. I started to wonder how this mat was going to work when it felt powdery. Not a good sign. I went to my trusty down dog pose, and my hands immediately began slipping. I gave it a good dousing with my yoga mat spray and wiped it thoroughly hoping it was just residue from manufacturing, but alas, when I did another down dog, the same thing happened. My hands started slipping forward. It’s a shame, because it’s a really pretty mat, but it’s just not as functional as I need it to be.

I'm using this yoga mat for my workouts, and it never entered my head that this was a product intended for women. Purple, after all, is the color of royalty, and does anyone even care? I haven't brought this outside of my home, but it serves its intended purpose, looks nice and lays there. I haven't availed myself of the bonus content provided, but it's there and other reviewers have benefited.

This yoga mat is outstanding. Great colors, compliments mat. Fabulous stability on the floor and great performance for our needs. Has nice cushion, comfortable to workout on. Also fantastic for my special needs son to do some of his home therapies. I think this a reasonable price point for this product.

BOTTOM LINE:1. I recommend this Maika-Yoga Mat.2. The current price of ~$35 is reasonable.LIKES:- Good quality material and workmanship.- Large size. Perfect providing room to maneuver.- It's true that it doesn't have offensive smells.DISLIKES:- Very thin. For me, a bit too thin.
