Great shell for M18 battery, slight modding needed.
I had dropped my milwaukee M18 battery off the top rope of my deck and it destroyed the top cover. I bought this because after I inspected the internals they were good to go. The only thing I had to do was break off the tabs they had under the top cover and this bad boy bolted right up. Would definitely recommend for anyone who just needs to replace their battery shell.

Works as described
I have never put one of these together before. Until now, I had to buy a few more things. As far as the tools to solder But it worked great, and i bought more for other people and I put them together and they all work great

Shave off the ten ribs inside the case
The battery case does work except you need to shave off the ten ribs inside the left and right side of the case. Once that's done gently and forcibly press the battery into the case then install the top begin installing the four screws tightening them in a criss cross direction. The battery and case work great

Defective BMS
Case worked fine. Installed new batteries, BMS was defective. I ordered a new BMS from another seller, installed, and the new BMS is working as it should. Battery pack is charging correctly now.

Poor fit but better than nothing
If you are willing to do some modifications to the case you can swap out the battery without all the extra work of soldering etc but it is a nuisance. It is an option just wish it was a better option. At least I didn't need to buy new batteries

Nice product.
It has everything you need to create a Milwaukee battery of whatever size you like. Providing you have the 18650 batteries to do the job. That is if you have a spot welder and a soldering pen or iron. Very happy with the product. I have made many of the makita batteries as well which is where my experience comes from.
