We’re a-gonna stretch yer neck
And this device will definitely stretch your neck. But first you have to figure out how the thing works. “I don’t know, Martha, I cain’t tell the front from the back.” “Well, Zeke, why don’t you just look at the directions?” What a novel idea! And these directions are very clear with easy to understand pictures and instructions. Martha got Zeke straightened out so he could get his neck stretched. Now I have a generously proportioned neck and shoulders but there’s no provision a man of my capacity. Even with the chin piece at its lowest setting and the back fully extended I couldn’t get it on. However, I persevered. Once I figured out that I needed to be lying down flat with a small pillow under my neck and head I was able to maneuver the collar together and get the tab to fit over the post. I turned the side knobs and raised the chin piece; turned the knob in the back tightening the neck. By now I certainly could barely move my head and I thought.”how could this possibly get any more immobilizing?” Dubious, I connected the cute little pump and pressed the “button.” The bladder began to fill with air and stretched my neck. It got to the point where I couldn’t move my head and I stopped the pump and disconnected it. As the 20 minutes slowly ticked away I felt my neck and shoulders relax even though I was stretched out. Time was up so I depressed the end of the fill tube and the bladder started shrinking. I lowered the chin piece, extended the back, unhooked the tab and removed the collar. For a while the tension was gone from my neck and shoulders. I think I am going to like this thing.

Cervical neck traction device with LCD touch electric inflation
The device is very sturdy and well built and pretty easy to use. I did go through all the manual instructions before starting using the device, although I wish there’s a video tutorial for this. I’ve used one with manual pump before and this one comes with an electric control air pump which makes pumping more even. It took me a few tries to find the best position for my neck. I also started with the lowest intensity of the cervical traction and use it for 10 minutes at a time. It has worked really well for me and I find great relief from using the device

Not for short necks
This product is only for people with long necks. There should be a disclaimer about the limits of this device. It does not fit all necks.

Still trying to decide if I like it or not...
I love it when the chiropractor pulls up on my head a bit... I can just feel the tension going away. But, I don't go the chiropractor very often because neck adjustments are a bit stressful for me... I can never relax enough. So, when I saw this contraption and what it's supposed to do, I thought perhaps I could get that feeling myself in the comfort of my own home. I'm not gonna lie... this thing is pretty intimidating looking when you first pull it out of the box. The instructions are pretty clear, though, and I finally figured out which way to put it on. The chin strap isn't very comfortable for me; it doesn't feel like it's in the right position. There are a few areas you can adjust by hand. Those are easy to use. Unhooking the loop from the peg that holds everything together has nearly caused me a panic attack, though, because it doesn't always want to come unhooked very easily. When inflating it, I don't really feel anything being stretched or lifted, like the chiropractor does, so either I'm not using it correctly or it just doesn't do what I think it's supposed to do. I never got any neck pain/tension relief like others have mentioned. And, that lady in the pictures who is smiling while using it... she's fake. I never felt anything while using it that made me want to smile with relief. It's just a big, weird, expensive contraption in my opinion.

High Quality and Works Well.
This neck brace works well but needs a bit of finesse to put on and take off. There are many adjustments you can make for a good fit. Putting the brace on is okay but requires some work. Getting it off is the area I’d say needs the most attention. Once the brace is on and fitted you need to find and pull a small strap to remove it. This takes a bit of time and a better method would be an improvement. However, this isn’t a deal breaker. It’s simply something to be aware of if your dexterity is compromised. The brace also has an air bladder in it that you can pump up for a better fit. A rechargeable pump is supplied for this purpose. There is a hose that come from the back of the brace that must be connected to the hose from the pump. Push a button on the pump and the bladder inflates. Disconnect the hose and push a release valve on the connector and the air bladder inflates. This is one of the better neck braces/traction devices I’ve come across. I’ve used this brace to good effect and recommend it. It’s worth the price and if you’re in pain, any relief is welcome. *My four star rating is simply because I think some minor improvements could be made. In particular with the strap that you need to locate and pull to release the brace. This wouldn’t stop me from recommending this device as it works well, is made well, and provided some much needed relief for me.

This doesnt inflate at all. And when the pump works and leave it pumping for a minute, and then release the tubes, there is absolutely no difference to the pressure pad on the exterior. It remains hard but there is definitely a fault.

This neck traction device is quite bulky and large, which can make it feel a bit intimidating to use. However, it effectively provides a gentle stretch for the neck, which feels incredibly relaxing and soothing for the muscles. While it delivers great results, its size and bulkiness mean I don’t use it as often as I’d like. On the plus side, it comes with clear instructions, making it easy to understand how to use properly.
