Japanese Kanji Made Easy: An Easy Step-By-Step Workbook to Learn More Japanese Kanji (JLPT N4) Review: Grounding your learning with multimedia and activity - This is a very good learning resource. The size of the pages, guides for writing the kanji, and paper quality is perfect for N4 progress. There is a little bleed through with a fluid gel pen or Tombow brush pen, but not bad at all. Hey, it’s a WORKbook. The additional context of adding the characters to other kanji to create new words stirs the pot and the cultural context added at the beginning of chapters helps memory and purpose. They are not just characters. They are language and meaning. The audio listening is essential if not already soaking in audio or if you do not have the pronunciation down firmly. It helps. Well done! Review: Great Addition to Learning Repertoire - I have been attempting to learn Japanese for some time, primarily through the Genki system and supplementing with apps. While that has been helpful, I wanted an additional workbook to help me with the Kanji learning. I love the size and format of this workbook, the breakdown of the radicals, Kun-reading and On-reading, and the Japanese facts and context provided for each lesson. I have also found that combining audio with visual inputs has vastly accelerated my learning, which is why I love having audio files for certain lessons.

Changing my Learning
I’ve been working on Japanese for years, and while many of the apps and programs I’ve tried have given solid foundations, being able to write kanji has made a difference in my learning retention. Really enjoying the way it shows stroke order as well, which is a whole other learning experience too. Great product!

Fantastic supplement to learning Japanese :-)
I love the Japanese language and am working to teach myself as much as possible, as returning to school for me right now is out of our family budget. I utilize digital resources as well, but there's just something so wonderful about being able to learn kanji in this format. Looking forward to slowly making my way through the entire series!

Good self learning book
Item arrived late as always because of Amazon fault and without an excuse. The book thankfully arrived in good condition but in very poor packaging and cause of these factors the low rating and review.

This really helps!!
The problem with trying to learn Kanji is that you to apply it. Many books just give you directions to write the characters. In Japanese Kanji Made Easy you not only learn how to write, but also how to read it in context and listen to the spoken word. The key to success is to practice all three. Don’t rush your practicing there are about 200 Kanji to work with. I’m looking forward to Japanese Kanji Made Easy #3 for JLPT level N5!

I really like how, aside from teaching the correct way to write the kanji (important to those just starting or those like me who taught themselves to write them wrong) and giving cultural notes on the themes it covers, the book offers lots of exercises helping us learn to recognize and use the characters and their elements as well as compound words and sentences in a written text, spoken word and pictures. The book is easy to use even if you aren't native in English.

Easy to use, don't be worried about practising the Kanji writing in the book, that is what it is for. However I would rcommend buying a) tracing paper so you can practise using a pen or brush b) buying a kanji paper writing book. The more you practise the strokes the more you remember the Kanji. The audio files are really good and the Q and A helps you gain confidence in the language.

Me encantó ! La verdad es que está más grande de lo que esperaba, no vi descripción del tamaño, pero en mi caso es mejor ya que la letra está de muy bien tamaño y además de ejercicios prácticos de Kanji tiene actividades de opción múltiple y poco más

I have bought Lingo Mastery's books before because I really like the way they simplify Japanese learning (even more considering how different it is from English), so I got this one as soon as it was released. Now that I have spent some time using it, I can say that this book not only teaches you the order of the strokes to write the kanji, but it has a lot of exercises where you can apply that earned knowledge! I love the dynamics and definitely recommend this one for those studying for N4 :)
