Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 (PS2)

As my title and rating proclaims, this game is rather good. As a rather casual anime fan, who hasn't even taken the time to watch all of Dragonball Z, I still wound up having a lot of fun with this particular title. This is mainly because even without the Dragonball Z theme, you're still presented with a very solid fighting game which has a lot of deeper concepts which are easy to get into. Beam battles in particular are a very cool inclusion. I can't say that the game is necessarily balanced, mostly due to the fact that in the anime some characters are blatantly stronger than others (Yegeta vs Krillin for example), but there is still a lot of skill involved, which can result in Yamcha beating Goku at his fourth saiyan level if played correctly. The story mode isn't particularly strong, but it's a fighting game, and as such this isn't really the focus, although it does give a rough idea of what happens across the various arcs through several characters. Also being able to fly around the entire map does have some initial novelty to it. All in all, a very solid fighting game that could potentially appeal to fighting game fans who aren't necessarily into the anime.

Okay, ive been a dbz fan for a long time. when budokai 1 came i didnt pay attention because of the games on ps1.but when budokai 2 came out i was forced to buy the game due the fact i had nothing to play, to put it in short IT WAS GREAT. now that ive heard about budokai 3 i couldnt wait to buy it. With i having rpg features and 44+ chartacters (wow) icant wait for it to arrive on my doorstep!!!!

A must for the sheer amount of content. Just need to learn how to push the correct buttons, rather than the 'mash all the buttons really quickly' technique I have. Arrived promptly and is in excellent condition

Product arrived fast and on time. Game case, manual and disc are in great condition. Played game through 100% collected every item & completed each characters story mode. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun Dragon Ball Fighting experience against the Computer or against your friends.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Disc was scratched badly. Would not recommend.

Ordered this game as i am a fan of the series and i was not disappointed, this item arrived extremely quickly and was in really good condition, no complaints what so ever

Already played a considerable amount of hours and the game worked fine so far. Also came with manual in good state. The case however is in bad state. Nothing that worries me too much though.
