Actually works well, no hype.
I have a miniature schnauzer and I also own several clippers. Annie doesn't like her face or ears trimmed, but this clipper won her over. It does an amazing job, is quiet and doesn't intimidate her. I recommend this 100%. They have won a fan for life.

UPDATE - Great for puppies!
UPDATE - This trimmer was great, but recently completely stopped working after using it maybe just a half dozen times. I noticed that the light stayed red when i was trying to charge this. It wouldn't turn back on. I even switched out for a fresh AA battery with no luck.Just used this for the first time on my 10-wk old Shih Tzu puppy’s paws and she didn’t even notice what i was doing! Extremely gentle and very quiet. Love it!

planned obsolescence or just 2 lemons
This is the 2nd pair of these clippers that I have purchased. The first one I ordered 2 years ago and worked great until one day I tried to charge it while the disposable battery was still in place and the battery corroded overnight on the charger and the item never worked again, with or without battery, with or without charger. That was my fault. The 2nd pair of these clippers, I purchased ~13 months ago. I used it with a battery only. I used it about 5 times for less than 2 minutes each time. When that first and lonly battery I had used on this pair started to drain, I replaced it with a new battery and yet the clippers would not start. Consequently I plugged the clippers in to charge it for the first time and lelft it to charge overnight. In the morning the clippers still would not start up. I tried a different, new battery to no avail. I think the clippers are dead. Both sets of clippers lasted approximately one year and had very light use. When they did work, they were very good. Planned obsolescence in my opinion. Don't waste your hard earned money.

Crap battery life.
opened the box, charged the cutter for 24 hours. The unplugged and trimmed poodles face and paws. Near the end of the forth paw the trimmer started to die. I plugged it back in for another 24 hours. Used it again, died in under ten minutes. Terrible battery life.

Does not keep a charge
I gave this product three stars I really do like it; she doesn’t flinch when I grow room in between her paws, but it does not stay charged, I have to keep it plugged in.

Broke after 2 uses
Only used a few times then it stopped working all together. Great product but only last for 2 uses

Love it!
But went a little crazy on my poor dog. This isn't adjustable - it shaves almost all the way to the skin.
