Great Mud Mask
Got this for my fiancé who loved it using it as a mud mask for her face and parts of her upper back. The packaging is compact and easy for storage in a bathroom drawer or easy fit a suitcase. She liked the texture and how her skin felt after. Had a good smell and cooling feel, was a good price for the value of the product. Liked that it’s from the Dead Sea for higher quality components

Tightens Skin, Ingredients Include Sulfates
I'm reviewing Dead Sea Mud Mask with Aloe Vera for Face and Body, Tightens & Exfoliate, 8.8 oz.This mask has a moderate mud and sulfur scent. It's definitely present, but not overwhelming. While not particularly pleasant, it's something I can tolerate. This comes in a foiled plastic bag with a screw on lid. I found it to be easy to shake and knead to mix up the mask before using. The dispensing spout made it convenient to dispense the amount I needed. It was pretty fluid, so I put it in a small bowl to use. I found that a flat bristled brush worked well to apply it to my face. It tightened my skin, and I had no adverse reactions. (I would note that the mask had thickened in the dispensing spout, so for my first use, I had a thick glob, followed by liquid.)The MFD is 6/2023 with a EXP of 6/2029.The description says that it's a conscious formulation with no chemicals or additives; however, it includes chemicals including sodium sulfate (see photo for full ingredient list). This discrepancy is reflected in my star rating. While the ingredient list on the package does not include Dead Sea mud, the company website lists it there. As a side note, this KAWAR Dead Sea Mud Mask is made in Jordan.

It's watery and not creamy.
This mud mask is very watery, even after kneading the bag. I wasn't expecting it to be so thin and so when I opened the package a lot of it spilled out and went down the drain. It is not creamy like most other mud masks. Also, it has a bad smell, a bit like garbage. It did seem to pull some oil from the skin as it dried, but I do not recommend this product.

Such a purifying mask
I absolutely love the clay face mask I use. It's become a regular part of my self-care routine, and I make sure to use it at least once or twice a week. I usually apply it in the evening as a way to purify my pores and give my face a refreshing reset after a long day. What I especially love about this mask is the dark color, which makes it easy to see exactly where I'm applying it, and it goes on my skin so smoothly. After leaving it on for about 10 minutes, I rinse it off, and I always feel totally refreshed afterward. This pack has lasted me a long time, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great face mask.

Dead sea mud mask
This dead sea mud mask works decently to tighten skin a bit and gives a smooth feeling afterward. The mask is a little bit stinky but I didn't expect it to smell great being a mud mask. The bag it is in is convenient because you can kind of shake it and knead it for mixing instead of having to put in a dish or dirtying anything. It has a screw top that could be to save and keep "fresh" for more uses.

Unbearable smell
I can't say too much about the effectiveness of this face mask, because the smell was so bad, I was only able to use it once. When I first opened the package a strong sulfur smell hit me immediately. It was like a mix of very rotten eggs and something else. I didn't expect a dead sea mask to smell like roses, but it also shouldn't make me gag. I was only able to keep it on for about 5 minutes and then the smell was even worse when I washed it off my face. I didn't try it again and can't recommend this to anyone who has a good sense of smell.

Not great
As another reviewer points out, this product contains sulfates, which is concerning. It also contains something called alumina--is this like aluminum? If so, that isn't good either. On the plus side, there are others that complain about the smell, but honestly, I'd rather have a natural unpleasant smell than an overly fragranced one. I also like that it's made in Jordan--that feels appropriate. However, with the two ingredients listed above, and a distinct lack of "dead sea mud" even as a bracketed ingredient, I don't feel very confident in this product, especially when using on the face...
