They are real cute and work well for thicker lotions. Do not use for more liquidy stuff, it may leak. I put solid coconut oil in it, must have warmed up in travel and leaked out.

I didn't buy these jars to hold cream but to transport my annoying amount of medication. Flip top boxes do not do it for me as they can pop open in my purse leaving me to dig in the dust bunny and throat lozenge wrapper depths to find the pills I must take on time. The other issue to worry about with flip top strips is the humidity causing pill breakdown or things like gel capsules to glue together. These jars hold my entire collection of pills to include the horse pills and giant prescription fish oils. Everything is safe, secure, and dry. I plan on getting another box as backup. I may even try one out with some hand cream for my purse.

Purchased these Nimena travel jars a year ago. I like to take along my usual products when traveling, rather than buying samples to get by with, so for me these are a necessity. And why not use jars that are pretty to look at and work well also. Love the colors, shape and feel of these little jars. Do note they are small. Anything I might use a lot of I just bring 2 jars of that and I label each jar to make things easier. They also come with a very small plastic paddle that makes it simple to transfer lotions when filling them. I keep that in the plastic case since it would be so easy to lose. I don't actually take the case. I put the jars loose in a cosmetic bag. I have not had any trouble with leakage but have not put liquids, or anything that might become liquid, in these. The additional plastic cap seal has a tab to lift off but I have had some trouble with that so I just pry it off with my fingernail. Very quick and easy. My absolute favorite when traveling!

Exactly what I was looking for. I make some of my own skincare products and I needed a small container I could throw in my purse, that would not leak when the product inside gets warm and the coconut oil base melts. This fits that bill perfectly.

I purchased these containers to hold my face lotion and gel for my hair to travel with. They come with a little plastic piece that fits over the opening keeping the product from getting into the lid and in the screw portion of the lid. No leaking. I would highly recommend d these for travel for cosmetics as well as medicine.
