IT IS SOFT. THE TOP AND BOTTOM ARE 2 DIFFERENT SHADES OF BROWN. (SEE PICS) THE TOP IS A LITTLE DARKER THAN MY PIC. THE LEGS DO NOT HAVE WIRES JUST STUFFED, SO THEY ARE NOT POSABLE.

Favorite toy for granddaughter
This soft bat has rapidly become my 2 yr old granddaughter's favorite toy. It seems to be well made and I hope it lasts a long time.
