I was skeptical about the Cooper wire theory for growing veggies/flowers/plants but decided it would be a harmless and effortless experiment. I just started growing gladiolus in my yard. One flower bed, I put two copper sticks in with one on each end. The other flower bed did not have any copper sticks in it. One group started to grow very tall very quickly and seemed to thrive. The same group was also free from any type of pests, which are very prevalent in my yard. The other group was a much slower grower and was getting eaten alive by caterpillars and other bugs. This group was almost destroyed by pests. Guess which group had the copper sticks and which did not. The group with the copper sticks is the group that thrived! I was blown away! I was mostly blown away by the fact that the group without the copper gotten eaten so badly by bugs while the other group doesn't have a single bite mark!! Needless to say, I bought more copper sticks for my yard!!
