It’s incredibly lightweight and breathable, making it perfect for wearing for several hours under the sun. Extremely useful for me as a farmer. Although marketed as a women’s hat, it looks unisex. Heavier hats can’t be worn for long periods as they create a phantom hat sensation, where you still feel the hat on your head even after removing it. Since this hat is so light, that’s not an issue. Despite being highly breathable, it fully blocks the sun, keeping my head cool—exactly what I need as a farmer. I have bought and returned a few hats, including others from this page. Among all the models, only this one is made of lightweight materials, while the others are made of straw, which is not very light. However, straw hats retain their shape better, making them more aesthetically pleasing, which is not my priority.
