Good tool but get this more robust version rather than the thinner version
There are two similar weeding instruments with the same design but different quality construction. The first one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DT154Z5M?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) which is on the left in the photo is constructed with very thin metal and so it is prone to bend. The second one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXXQVVFP?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) on the right in the photo is made of heavier guage metal, also stainless steel. It withstands much more vigorous use. Let’s just say that my South Texas is not loose, well drained and easy to work. I really need the heftier tool. It costs twice as much but I’m certain will last 5-10 times longer. Let me say that this tool works exceptionally well on weeds with a flat growth pattern like stickleburrs. Plants with a more vertical growth pattern require more care to successfully extract

Effective and durable!
Perfect for pulling up crab grass! I've tried many diff tools and this was by far the most efficient, easiest and most effective! I have a standing one you stomp on but if you don't get the center exactly, it doesn't work great. You do have to bend over for this but squats are good exercise! I bought a version of this online at another company and it fell apart the first use. I bought this that same evening, it was delivered the next day and I used it extensively w/o issue. Definitely durable! I will say, I like one of my other tools better for dandelions, but it still worked for them, too.

This is my most favorite tool for the garden!!!
This is my most favorite tool for the garden!!! It is actually the only hand tool I use anymore. Great for broadleaf and raking up hard soil. I loved it so much that I bought for for my BFF. I even use it to dig holes for smaller plants. The handle is nice with a comfortable grip. I abuse mine and it is still holding strong.

does what it promises.
It works really well. I should have ordered one in with a longer handle but this has worked well enough.

Great Weeding Tool
This is a great gardening tool. It easily catches weeds and pulls them up. There is no need to assemble the tool. It comes as one piece. It is made of durable steel but not so heavy it is hard to use. The claws are very sharp so be careful when handling it. I highly recommend this to all of my friends who like to garden.

Does not work on wet/damp soil
I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present. We both tried it out yesterday on some weeds/grass. The ground was wet. The head of the weeder became clogged with wet dirt and didn't do much for weeding. We will have to wait until the soil becomes dry to try it out again. Also the head/rake is small, I wished it be a little bigger/wider

Best tool for weeds; easy on hand muscles
This little puppy pulls out the weeds and the roots without a lot of hand strength needed. It pulls up hard to grasp weeds, grasses, anything you want out of your lawn or garden. You can wipe out a whole row of weeds in seconds. It is quite sharp, the right length to reach out and grab a weed . I am careful with it because it is sharp, but it comes with a safety cover, which is nice when putting it away; so I don’t inadvertently grab the sharp end by mistake. This is my new favorite tool, replacing the serrated knife which is also good for weeds, but requires much more physical strength from the hands.
